Back from my 1st WDW trip, so I start here with me walking down Main Street for the very first time. I'm the one in the middle of the trolley tracks. Seeing that castle for the very first time was an unforgettable experience. This was in the evening of November 7, 2009
I took advantage of the 1am hours over at MK to head there after dinner with the goal of doing some slow shutter night shots in some of the lands where I have neglected to shoot in the past. A perfect opportunity presented itself as I entered a few minutes before Wishes - having seen it plenty of times, I skipped the massive crowds on Main Street and circled over to Adventureland to start my whirlwind tour around the lands during the fireworks show - the rest of the park was nearly deserted, which made it a pleasure. Then as the night grew later, I worked my way through Tomorrowland and back to Main Street where I hit some train station shots down Main Street with the flagpole REMOVED!!! Here's my tour:
Adventureland:
Though the intention wasn't to shoot the fireworks, they were perfectly visible from Adventureland, so I squeezed them in:
I don't think I ever realized quite how pretty Tiki Room is at night:
Pirates was empty!:
Splash Mountain...look - even some stars visible (a rarity in Florida, but it was fortunately a cool clear night):
