Magic Kingdom photo session?

Ok. I do have the proper number for photography services in Disney. I was told that they do offere these services and I left a message for Ashley directly this time.

If anyone wants the number PM me. I am still waiting for a call back with more specific info but I was told again that this is something that can be done.:goodvibes

Oooh, yea! Please post details and pricing once you talk to them. TIA!

I can't wait to hear what you guys find out about this. This would be a special thing to do for my birthday there this summer...:rolleyes1

I would love to do this for our anniversary. We had a honeymoon shoot last year and I loved it.

100 an hour is not bad at all.

Well Ashley never returned my call. Again. :confused3 I might have to find someone else BESIDES Ashley to speak to I guess.

Sorry! I didnt get a call till this evening at dinnertime and I havent had a chance to post.

Ashley was great! Basically I have 2 choices: $110/hr with a 2 hour min. This is labor only. To order pics I need to go their website, make my choices and then call her for the order OR I can pay $375 for 2 hours and a disc with all the pics taken and have them printed on my own. She is emailing me the price list for pics/albums/collages ect so I can do some math.

I will have access to the Rose Garden next to the castle so I can FINALLY have a castle picture without other people in it!:lmao: They will take candids as the kids walk down Main St. I can do a ride with the photog BUT it needs to be something mild like Dumbo because of the camera equipment and the risk of damage to it. The only down side is there is not Fast pass access to the rides. We would have to wait in line or get FPs ahead of time.:confused3

Soooo we booked it for a date in October. Ashley is going to speak with the scheduling person tomorrow to pick the right photographer since I have specific requests like the candids and not all posed pics. We will have a conversation closer to the date about specifics and to finalize things. We will do 10am-12pm and hopefully that will be enough to get something awesome! Pricey but this is the last time I go with little ones. The next trip my DD will be a teen.:scared1: No more innocent faces. I am sure she will be quite embarrassed to be seen with me so the money is worth it for the memories.

So that was my excitment for the day. My DH is right on board too so it's nice to agree on how important this is to both of us!

Wow...for what you get that really isn't bad. It would cost that much for the same thing at your local studio - IF they would actually give you all the pictures. If you do a fireworks cruise and add any food to it you will be close to that amount.

Here's some pixie dust for a fantastic shoot pixiedust:

This is JUST what I was thinking. Though it sounds pricey the first time you hear it, I started to think how much a 2 hour session would cost around Boston. Now add in that it's Disney and we are being followed around and getting candids AND the Rose Garden and it's actually not a bad price at all.

It means more than I can say to have these pics of my kids so I am gladly taking all the pixie dust you have to offer!:lovestruc

Just being devil's advocate here, but what's the big deal about the Rose Garden? It's not some off limits area, I've walked through there countless times.:confused3

Maybe I am using the wrong term. It is an area that isn't really open to the public. It is a grassy area with trees and flowers used for promo adds, photo shoots ect. She said we would be able to finally get a pic with the castle in the background and no strangers milling around in our pictures. She said it was an area that is used only for things like this. I am only going by what she told me.

Awesome! I want this to be my bday present when we go in August for my birthday and DD's 4th birthday. We are going with my mom and sis, I hate that DH won't be in the pics (He is in Iraq), but I still really want to do this and the price is about right! Plus I am afraid by the time we go in a year and DH is home it will either be gone or the price will have jumped (like the resort photo shoot once everyone started doing it).

How far in advance can you book it? Can I book now for August or is it like 90 days too? Can you give us the contact info?

Also one last thing.... Did she mention what other rides were "mild" enough since Dumbo doesn't have fast pass.... just trying to think of what FPs we could get ahead of time because I would love to have some ride shots..... of coarse Dumbo and Tea Cups are ride shots I have always wanted, but never turn out good, but they don't have fast pass.

I think the Magic Carpets of Alladin would be a great ride shot. I love when you get up high and the rooftops and palm trees are in the shot.
