Magic Kingdom Paint Brushes

I have been on the disboards since March or so and I feel like I now know all of the in's and out's of everything. The only thing I can't remember is what the hidden paint brushes in ( FrontierLand ?) is about. Could one of you experts help me out on this one ? Thanks Elisa

The paint brushes are hidden on Tom Sawyer Island and if you find one and take it to a CM you are given a surprise. I don't know what the prize is.

The paint brushes symobolize Tom Sawyer getting his friends to paint a fence (or something like that) for him.
The prize is a fastpass for your group/family to BTMRR or SM.

Doesn't sound like a really big deal then . We can get our own fastpasses. I was trying to come up with some special things for my two kids to try , without getting their hopes up. The other ideas were Wake up Tink and decorate the christmas tree at the Christmas shop.This will be their 1st trip and I don't want to tell them about this stuff ,but if we get a chance to do one of them...all the better.
