Magic Kingdom open until 2 AM...?

I'll be at WDW that weekend and I have no idea if I'll be at MK or not for the extended hours. I'm going with a friend who is a Florida resident/annual passholder and he is making ALL the plans. I am so excited because it's the first time I've gone without my kids and I don't have to do any of the planning. I hope we'll be there for these extended hours, but it's all up to him.

We LIVE by the evening EMHs when we go in late June every year. And remember, FPs aren't available, so by the time you wait in line for some of the more popular attractions, 2am is there before you know it We think it's way cool to close down the parks

We usually do AK on the day of MK late EMH. We go back to our room at around 3pm and sleep till 7 or 8 pm. We then head to MK and our kids (5 and 9) are refreshed and able to handle the night.

We usually do a pool day the next day.

I stayed until 2.am before the park got empty! All the rides where walk on. Most of the rides are open. I would recommend doing it!

DH and I stayed until almost 2 am once. We did go back to the room during the day to take a nap. But it was August, so we were also SO hot that the room sounded good.

Anyway, it was great being there so late. It wasn't as empty as I thought it would be though. But I was surprised at the number of young children I saw, and some of them were not so happy. lol

I really didn't see many LITTLE ones. My son was 9 and he did better than his parents! Last year was his first time to do the pm EMH. He felt so grown-up. His everyday bedtime is 8pm, he wasn't going to miss the opportunity to stay up late.

We've been at MK until 2AM during our honeymoon trip and it's really wonderful and the best. You can go riding several times on different rides. Now we can't do it because we have kids. Maybe if they will grow older.

During my last summer trip I was in MK untill 2am..it was soo much fun..it's so empty and you can relax and get on every ride open as many times as you want with no lines!!

2AM EMH made our trip last year.

We rode everything we could possibly want to ride with no line.

Have you ever walked right on to Dumbo??? That was amazing.

We rode the Astro Orbiter with no wait...that was my first time to ride it 5 visits as the line is usually sooooo long.

We have 2 boys ages 6 & 8 this year. We were at MK last year until about 3:00PM and then went back to Pop Century for a nap and dinner. We went back to MK around 10:00 PM and stayed until 2:00 AM. We were able to go back to MK at odds times the rest of the week as we had already ridden every ride during EMH.

I hope they have the late night EMH during our Spring Break trip this year.
