We will be at WDW May 21-27 and are thinking about doing MK on Sunday the 22nd because of the Flower Fest in Epcot and Star Wars weekend at MGM - am I doing the right thing by avoiding Epcot and MGM that Sunday? Is Sunday usually a busy day at MK?

Thanks!

I am sure the MK will be packed on any weekend day.

Yeah some of the crowds will be at Studios/Epcot, but MK is always the biggest draw in Disney. That's the one most people call "Disney World" (It's a HUGE peeve of mine LOL)

Anyway, that being said. I will be doing MK on Sunday, 3/13 when I get there. I'm checking in on 3/12, and can't wait any later than that to do MK! LOL

I am hoping to get there that day for the opening (never been there at park open). And then I'm going another day when they have the EMH at night.

LOL - I figured that it would be busy but I think I would have a hard time waiting for mid week to hit MK - LOL We are also planning on going there for the EMH in the evenings :earsboy:

Have fun! We will try too! Crowds and all!

I always found the crowds at MK to be much better than crowds in other places, like Six Flags in NJ, Seaside Heights/Point Pleasent NJ on summer holiday weekends, San Ginaro Festival in NYC, etc... I guess it's more of a "family" vibe and I think most people behave better in Disney.

I'm so happy to hear that others can't wait for Magic Kingdom, one year we waited for magic kindom until later in the week and I couldn't enjoy the other parks because I was thinking about magic kingdom...I know...strange! Since then I've learned to Magic Kingdom first and then other parks and then back to magic kingdom, it makes me happy to know I get to go back later in the week too!

I think MK is ok early on Sunday(and is an EE day is it not?). You might get in a couple of hours of touring then hop to another park. You are there the week prior to the Memorial day weekend, and more schools will be on summer break the closer you get to the following weekend. I'd get in as much MK time as possible earlier in the week rather than later. Even if you have to do several trips of shorter duration. :earsboy:
