Magic Kingdom on New Year's Eve

Is this just a bad idea? My favorite team is likely to be in the Outback Bowl in Tampa on Jan 1st, and I'm thinking about taking my nearly 4 y/o daughter to the game, and to the MK for New Year's Eve.

I fear I already know the answer, but has anyone celebrated the New Year at Disney, and can you offer me some advice?

Well congratulations on your team going to a bowl game. As for NYE, MK is the most crowded park and usually fills to capacity by 10am. If you are staying at a Disney resort you definitely get preferential treatment with regards to park entrance. If you plan to do this you need to arrive early and stay dont leave the park. Go ahead and make a PS for dinner now. It will be crowded but it is a lot of fun. They pass out hats and horns and celebrate with a countdown and fireworks.
