Magic Kingdom on New Year's Eve ???

Hello ALL!
We are planning on seeing the New Year's Eve Fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom. I know that it will be SUPER crowded. I am staying on site so would that guarantee admission? What time should we go if we don't want to spend the whole day at MK?

As a Disney Resort guest you are guaranteed entrance into a theme park but it may not necessarily be the park that is your first choice. Mk will fill to capacity by 10am. I know you probably dont want to spend the day but it is the only strategy that will guarantee your entrance into MK. You may try later in the day around 3pm, but it isnt a practice I would try.

We tried to get into Epcot at 4pm on NYE and were turned away.
