Magic Kingdom Hours/No more rope drop?

Hello everyone.

I am currently making ADR's for our upcoming July 2017 trip. I have recently read that there will be new operating hours/procedures at the Magic Kingdom. We usually book breakfast at the Crystal Palace prior to the park opening time/rope drop. If they are doing away with this, does anyone know when or what the new opening hours will look like? What I had read is that Main Street will now be opening an hour earlier than the stated park hours, to allow for extra shopping etc.
Has anyone else heard this? Please feel free to share any information.

That's already begun. Main street opens an hour before the rest of the park. Welcome show is in front of the castle. CP PPO breakfasts are no longer a viable option for getting a head start or seeing main street empty. BoG PPO is a viable option for getting a head start on 7DMT, PP, etc.
