Shoot, I don't even know if I remember how to fold a flag properly.

Don't worry, you do not fold the flag, you just stand there as they do everything. They will present you with the flag and you will follow the band to the middle area of Mainstreet and they will take the flag and give you a certificate and take some pictures. You do not get to keep the flag!
