i have my Illuminations Cruise booked, I am getting the Fantasmic thing together, now; i am desperatly in search of something that will make the Magic Kingdom Fireworks display. Is there a dinner package or somewhere that is good place to be for this??

:confused3

The Wishes Cruise is great, but I don't recommend it until you have seen it from Main St first, as you miss the lighting on the front of the Castle, and you don't hear the music as well (unless you get a boat that has the music piped in)....

Get yourself a good seat near the end of Main St and just watch it from there.

(While I loved the cruise part of the Illuminations Cruise, I didn't care for the view of Illuminations - I saw it best on our last trip from the Rose and Crown)

I agree with the other post. See it from Main St. first because unlike the Illuminations Cruise, the Wishes Cruise is from ALOT further away.

Also there's no place to eat that is good to watch Wishes. As the other post said, get a seat at the end of Main ST. and see it there first and foremost.

We just went on the Wishes cruise on Feb 20 and the music was piped into the boat. It was a great way to view it. Our pilot was great and we got into a shouting war with the pirate cruise (they were trying to intimidate us!) It was a lot of fun.

I agree with the other poster who said to see it from Main St. It is just beautiful and does not need anything else to make it special because it already is. I have also been on the pirate cruise and I liked it MUCH better from Main St.

You obviously were on the Grand Gatherings Cruise, and not the standard Pontoon Boat Cruise. BIG Difference.

we debated doing the wishes cruise but we decided the Illuminations was more for us. the whole thing with the fireworks around the castle and the music, we did not want to miss all of that. we were hoping that there was a special thing we could "reserve" but i guess there isnt. so our best bet is to find a place for all of our party to be (sit??) and watch it from the end of Main St. are there any resturants or anything like that there that would have seating??
