Magic Kingdom extra magic morning hours for Easter time?

Last year, MK had 8 AM opening with 7 AM extra magic hour every day, beginning the Monday before Easter through all of Easter week. So far, all I am seeing is the 8 AM opening and the regular MK extra magic morning on Friday. The sites that do crowd predictions are predicting huge crowds. I saw reference to an "11" on the 1-10 crowd levels...another site said "insane" levels. My question: anyone know when Disney adds the every-day early morning hours during crazy-busy holiday weeks?

There is no set time for these to be announced.

Do they do it for the week before Easter as well? Going to be there March 22-26 and I didn't know this was even an option.

It's one of the reasons I paid for Touring Plans-- so I'll get an email if they add morning EMH or change the hours. I hope they add morning EMH the week before Easter!

Last year they did...the regular opening time for Magic Kingdom was changed to 8 AM, and they added 7 AM extra magic hour every single day from the Monday before Easter through all of Easter week. So almost 2 weeks of 7 AM extra magic at Magic Kingdom. I do not know when they added those 7 AM days...I just know they did. That's why I was wondering if anyone know when they changed them last year. I decided to figure out my touring "battle plan" for either 7 AM opening or 8 AM opening. My fastpasses for the morning will work for either schedule so I will be ready to change to the earlier plan at the last minute if needed. I just was curious if anyone remembers from last year when they changed the EMH

I have subscribed for years...and that is how I knew they had made these kind of changes before. I guess I should sign up for the emails!

I’m arriving on the 18th. Right now MK is not opening until 9am on the 19th. Kind of hope it stays that way.
