Magic Kingdom & Epcot Question for Holidays

We will be heading back to the world for the Holidays in 2014

Question we have is Christmas Eve and New Years Eve....which parks and why?

We will be arriving 12/23 and departing 1/2 and understand that 12/24 and 12/31 will be marathon days from open to close

I would do MK on Christmas Eve to see Holiday Wishes. Definitely very festive!

I'd recommend Epcot on NYE because the fireworks are incredible! After regular illuminations ends they do a New Year's countdown where they do fireworks over each country pavilion in the order in which they hit the new year in their respective time zones, ending with Canada, Mexico and the US for the real countdown.

On 12/30 MK does the same fireworks that happen on NYE so if you want to see them without it being AS crowded (it'll still be quite busy) you can that night!

thanks for the feedback...after thinking about it some more, we will be doing MK for 12/24 and EP for 12/31. Both days will be long marathon days as we will need to enter park early and stay all day/night. We decided that spending two marathon days in the same park on the same trip might not be quite as much fun compared to doing separate parks.
