Hello

It will not be my first visit to Disney but it will be the first time I'll stay onsite and first time dining at a resort... si forgive me if my question does not make a lot of sense. Oh, and forgive me if the post it's too long :(

We'll be staying at one All Stars Resort. We'll have a car.

The day we visit Magick Kingdom will have dinner at California Grill. Reservation is for 8:45 pm. That day Wishes is at 8 and Main Streel Electrical Parade at 7.

My idea is to watch the parade (near the entrance to Magic Kingdom) and see Wishes from the observation desk at California Grill.

So, I know I don't have time to leave the park, take the ferry to the parking lot and arrive to the Contemporary Resort to watch Wishes.
I was thinking to use Disney's transportation that day. But I know when I leave California Grill I'll have to take 2 buses (or a taki).

But today I find out about Valet Parking.

Do you think it's best to leave the park in the morning at the Contemporary resort, then walk to Magic Kingdom, then walk to the Contemporary and pick the car to return to All Stars Resort?

Does it make any sense?:confused3

It takes less than 10 mins to walk between. MK and the CR! You could pay to valet park all day, or you could park at the TTC. Ferry (or monorail) to the MK for the day. Watch the parade and then walk over to the CR.....as I said, it's under 10 mins. The monorail can sometimes takes longer.
If you decide to take the bus to the MK that day, you can the. Walk over to the CR for dinner. You might be able to get a bus back to the AllStars from MK. If not, take a cab.

I don't know whether you realize that the Resort Monorail also stops at TTC.

If you park at TTC & walk or monorail from MK to CR, it's a very short monorail ride from CR to TTC after dinner. The only issue is that the parking lot trams may not be running when you get back to TTC, in which case you'll have to walk to your car in the parking lot.

If you first arrive at TTC before MK opening, you'll likely be parked an easy walk away from the monorail station. But even if you're at the furthest reaches of the lot, the longest walk from the monorail is less than 3/4 mi.
