Magic Kingdom After Hours - how long before the event does it typically sell out?

Looking to attend the MK After Hours event on Feb 17th. For cash flow reasons between now and then, I'm hoping to buy the tickets closer to the date,
I saw that tickets for the Jan 13th event was still available on the 12th, and tickets for Jan 20th are still available. Based on information in crowd calendars, it doesn't seem projected to be a busy time between now and then. For those who have seen AH tickets sell out, how far in advance was it, and what time of year did it tend to seller out earlier than later?

It seems like they sold out much faster last year than they are selling now. I don't know if it has to do with Tiana's not being offered during AH and Big Thunder being down for refurb. Or maybe there's less people traveling this year because of the economy?

Whatever the case, I wouldn't hold out too much longer. February 17th is President's Day, and most Schools have that day or week off. It's a big vacation time especially for people from the North escaping the cold.

Is Tiana's definitely not offered? Undercover Tourist lists it as being offered, but the Disney site (which as I write this, should prob be considered the authority) doesn't mention it as available rides (although does not exclude it).

I am interested in OP's question and @peacefrogdog's question. My family is headed to WDW March 3-7. We are skiing the last weekend in February in Utah (that packing for this trip is going to be dicey...ski gear and Disney gear!) and then flying from the Salt Lake City airport to MCO. Our flight is scheduled to arrive around 6 pm on March 3rd, and there is an AH at MK that night. I would like to purchase tickets for the AH, but I don't want to do that until I know our flight will get out of SLC. I'm wondering if there will still be tickets available on March 3rd that I can purchase when we get to the airport that day and know that our flight is a "go"? I know the tickets are non refundable and I don't want to shell out the $ if there is a snowstorm and we don't get out of SLC. I looked at the link that @Apiary shared for HS AH events, but there wasn't a March 3rd date on that historical document. I know it's a crapshoot, but I was just curious.

Also, I'm wondering if Tiana's is or is not available at the AH event?

Thanks so much!

Tiana's is definitely not offered right now. It may become offered again in the spring, but that's anyone's guess. with it leaving VQ it seems they think demand and reliability are such that they can run it efficiently, so it makes sense that it would be added back when, but again...who knows.

@Nimbus this is good to know. It will be interesting to see if Tiana's is offered in MK's AH, once they have eliminated the VQ.
