Magic Kingdom 7:00 am EMH

When did the EMH process change? We arrived this morning at 6:30 for 7am EMH. We drove from our resort, but security did not open until 6:50. We were on the ferry at 7:02. When we finally get in, they did not open any land until 7:15. Not exactly a 7am EMH. So when did this process change? Also, when we were here for 8am opening, they didn't open main street until 7:50. Last summer we were able to go on Main Street for an hour before. When did that change too?

Driving to AM EMH at MK is not the best practice.
MK AM EMH is designed for WDW Resort guests to arrive via Disney buses (and Resort monorail.)

But, I don't know why they would not have opened Fantasyland & Tomorrowland at 7AM.

Also, they do not open Main Street an hour early except on mornings when MK has a regular 9AM open time.

Apparently it didn't matter if you drove this morning or not. Their security was backed up too. We actually made it faster than the bus riders. Still doesn't explain why they didn't open a land until 7:15.

It would certainly make me very upset, if that were the case.

I haven't stopped by yet. I am trying to get to as many rides before it gets too crowded. There were some guests letting them know. I am disappointed. EMH is the only reason we stayed onsite. I knew it was going to be crowded, but I wasn't expecting the park to hold us up.
