just an update

I called DL yesterday and they bumped it to a supervisor. She said she'd look into it and she called me back a few hours later. They could honor letting me purchase the Enchant pass even though it's sold out for new purchases. Only caveat is I had to go to a ticket booth at DL to do. I live in MA so probably not going to be able to make that happen. Tickets are still in my cart.

Wow, nothing has changed since we had to deal with a magic key mess back in 2021 when the keys were first rolled out. The ultimate response from phone support for many ticket issues seems is to get it fixed at the gate. Not so easy when you are out of state. To be fair, the gate did fix our complex issue 3 months later, but with todays tech , phone support should easily be able to correct most things In the system. It does seem like they really intend these annual passes only for the locals or people within a few hours from the park.

Maybe try all avenues you can think of, including Chat, calling again and if they say the same thing, ask to speak to someone at the top (you may get a 'no can do' but it's worth a shot), writing to them, and anything else you can think of. Reference anything said to you and name of supervisor if you have it. Sometimes persistence pays, though that's incredibly annoying and not your fault.

yes it is annoying, but maybe it's just meant to be and I'll buy a WDW AP instead. I just liked that the Enchant Pass was half the price of the WDW's Incredi Pass.

That is so frustrating the weird block they had about only fixing stuff like that at the ticket booth. It just makes no sense for most of these issues!

Nope. Speculation is that sales will start up again in August, because a lot of people are up for renewal around then and some will not renew. But the way things have been, could be sooner or later and we'll never know until Disney tells us.

Funny you mentioned nonstop. That's probably my single biggest issue with WDW since the pandemic--Southwest took all the nonstops from the Bay Area to MCO away. I hate flying out of SFO (United) so from OAK it's always a connection now.

Frontier now has an SFO->MCO nonstop I believe. It is new...but Frontier, so pros/cons.

If it were OAK, I might be willing to give it a try. But if I'm dealing with the bridge, I'd probably just go United.
