Magic Key holder lounge

Is the Magic Key holder lounge still open in Tomorrowland? I see that it was only supposed to be open until the end of October, but I'm wondering why it would only be temporary. Visiting tomorrow and hoping it's open!

You're not missing anything. It was a big empty space with a photo backdrop for the Instagrammers and a few cell phone charging stations. I went in to check it out once and was back out 30 seconds later.

You had to get lucky since they were only there about 2 days a week. On days they were there, they'd alternate for a few hours in the early afternoon.
If Disney wanted to do things properly, they would have put the characters there every afternoon rather than force Keyholders to check every day till they saw the characters. If they wanted to cheap out on staffing, they could have just not even bothered with this Keyholder lounge. Disney is all about overpromising and underdelivering right now.

It's like when they announced Disney+ Day. If a person likes seeing those characters, they would absolutely have wanted to go. But when Disney announced it, there was no way to even get into the parks that day since the reservations had already been booked up for ages. So instead of providing cool experiences, Disney blotched it up by making it prohibitively difficult to do these things.

Agreed!!! I'm so frustrated by Disney's lousy communication plan/process of recent months. Ugh!

We went by on Saturday and it was not open. I am not sure if it closed permanently or not.
