Love these photos - the new and the old!! Makes me realize I am soon behind you with my oldest, but don't get to Disney World as often or many times as you have! What special moments and memories and fun times you have together. And, seeing the breakfast pics makes me want to be there right now. Hard to believe we were eating there just last month!

I'm so glad you've been along on our journey. I'm anxious to finish this one up so I can move on to our DL adventure. We really have moved into a new phase.

I KNOW! What is it about the breakfast photos that always get me? Just a few days ago someone started a thread about some of your most magical moments through the years and it got me thinking about that first time we ever did CRT. Sitting there in the castle, planning our day in the park..... Katie in her first princess costume ever at Disney. It just doesn't get any better. We even came down from breakfast to stumble across the Fairy Godmother for the first time. Not the REAL Fairy Godmother. But a good stand-in.

Thanks Wendy. I really just don't know how it all went so fast.

The next installment will feature a lot of Belle action. So I thought I'd start with a photo of Katie's first ever Belle gown. This was in March 2007 at the Pirate and Princess Party. Back then, Belle did not appear in the parks in her yellow gown. So when I read that she was out in her gown for the party, I knew I would have to go.

I had made the Belle gown for Halloween 6 months earlier, so it was just hanging there anyway. That gown also made the trip to the other coast that summer for our visit to Disneyland!

Saturday December 15, 2012 continued:

The working plan for months had been to cap off our time in the parks with friends having dinner at BOG with the girls in their yellow ballgowns. I also wanted a photo of Belle with the girls in their gowns. Well, you know what they say about the best laid plans.......

I thought it would be easy. Just watch the FP return times and pull a FP for Town Square Theater when the time was right to go through there right ahead of our dinner ADR. Then they took Belle out of TST when ETWB opened. Word on the street was that you could still get a photo of Belle in her yellow gown if you participated in the show. But the time of day we needed to do that was mid to late afternoon, the busiest time of the day on a very popular new attraction. Lines were seldom below an hour, usually longer.

A week or so before our trip, Kim was invited to be part of the FP+ test. We arrived 2 days before them, and just missed the cutoff so did not get to participate. Initially Kim suggested that I use their 3 FP+ slots to take the 3 girls in and get the photo (since we were all seeing it together earlier in the week), but then changed her mind at the last minute. Her older daughter wanted to use their own slots themselves. So Katie and I went off to do ETWB by ourselves after breakfast. The wait was 70 minutes. On the up side, that gave us time for a variety of photos along the way.....

Thanks April! It really did seem like quite the ordeal to get our photo with Belle. I will treasure it always!
