First off, Allegiant Airlines kept us extremely entertained during our flight to Orlando today. They started off by telling us that if we pushed the call button too many times, we would be ejected from the plane. Then, we were all instructed to throw our hands in the air during take-off and pretend that we were on Space Mountain. At the conclusion of the flight, they had us applaud the flight crew, and then played "When you wish upon a star" over the speaker system.

It's just my husband and me on this trip, and we're staying at All-Star Sports for the third time. Today, since we didn't make it in until the afternoon, we just went to Downtown Disney. I must say, I did take a minute to drool over the Dooney bags in TrenD, but then I decided that none of them were "just right" so I left bagless. We both had an enormous sundae at Ghirardelli and wandered around enjoying the warm weather!

On the bus ride back to our resort, my husband and I became the subject of an "I spy" game that two little kids were playing. They confirmed and re-confirmed...that my husband's shirt was black (and so is my hair)...and my dress was blue. They were too cute. I got a good giggle out of them.

Tomorrow, we plan on spending the day at Hollywood Studios. I will hopefully have a picture of Lotso to share! Until then...

Have an awesome time! I'll be there on Monday & it's not soon enough... gotta live through you until Monday.

Enjoy your trip!

I like spending my first day at DTD.
Glad the weather is warm, it is snowing in Wisconsin, yuck.

MissMet, tomorrow is your day!!! And OhMari, I am so glad I'm not dealing with any snow right now.

Today was our day for Disney's Hollywood Studios. We're currently taking a short break at our hotel to re-energize. The wait times are not bad at all today. At opening, we (along with everyone else trying to enter the park) rushed over to Toystory. We rode, got off and got in line and rode again. Then we got fastpasses which were already for 2:15! We did the Great Movie Ride with no wait. Then tried out Sounds Dangerous since it was finally open for us.

Lunch was at Pizza Planet, which for some reason, I LOVE! Those tiny pizzas are delicious! It was sad to look at the Muppet building since it's not going to be open during my trip, but I'll catch it next time.

After lunch, we went through the Magic of Disney Animation and met Lotso! Let me tell you, that is one HUGE pink teddy bear. He can't even walk properly...it's more of a shuffle. I'll try and add a picture later.

We hit Beauty and the Beast at just the right time. It was 12:20, the next show was 12:45, and there were still tons of seats open. That was a nice sit in the shade. Next, we went over to Rock N' Roller Coaster with the intention of grabbing a Fastpass, but the stand-by was only 20 minutes, so we just got in line. I survived.:scared:

After having the:scared1: scared out of us, we decided to go ahead and get a Fastpass for the Tower (the standby was only 20 minutes, though). We watched One Man's Dream, which always almost makes me cry at the end, and then it was our return time for Toy Story! I slowly improved throughout the day. My final score was roughly 165000. I have room for improvement still!

Then it was our return time for TOT, which had a fun drop sequence I've never gotten before, and now here we are, back at our room!

We have to go back in a minute to finish up everything we missed and hopefully watch Fantasmic for our first time. I might stay in just a little while longer and enjoy the air conditioning, though...:umbrella:
