Oh dan on the Panama Canal Cruise honestly I think this was the funniest thing I saw. I really thought DCL would get a new one for the wonder because of her move out West for the foreseeable future and have one that was not just the state of FL. Nope I was wrong, I was laughing when we got off here in L.A. I hope the Wonder has a new one by now.
I have a newbie question. I want to know if the OBC that I should have can be seen by my travel agent?I made the mistake of using a new travel agency Mouse Fan Travel for the OBC that they were giving. I won't give the agent's name but.
She is HORRIBLE! Any time I e-mail her with a question, it takes her 3 or 4 days to get back to me. I should have realized when it took her 3 days to get back to me just to book my reservation on DCL. I have learned my lesson and will not be using them again. Does anyone know the answer though? Can I just e-mail DCL and get it? I should have my discounts from the travel agency plus paying with my Disney Visa and I want to be sure it is correct before I actually get on the ship and then have to fix it when it is wrong... AH!!

Thanks Dan!
See? Told you I got confused!! But, the only thing I think I want are the photo mats and maybe the Galley Tour. And for some reason I thought I had read only 1 thing from each cabin..so that's a good one to know too!
And I assume for ALL 'guest services' that's on deck 3?.
And on the photo drop off...I knew to send sharpies and candy..Does that mean sharpies in each photo mat bag that I drop off? Ie: Dropping off 3 since we have 3 cabins, so I need a set of sharpies per each photo mat 'bag'?
The tea 'might' be too young for my 12dd? Haven't heard much opinion on that one. Any input there?
Anything else you can think of off the bat? I know if I've read so much, there are other newbies on here that might need helps too! And yes, I've read the Passporter, but it's been a while. Just hard to 'soak' it all in!![]()
Speaking of theft (though I HATE having to say it), I wonder if FE participants are gonna be tying down their FE's? And if so, what do you take to 'cut it off'? Any thoughts towards that one?![]()
LOL This is fun!!! I have one up here already- everyone is getting close, but haven't quite figured it out yet. I'll post a new one as well, hopefully a little easier....

OMG, DCL really needs to get on the ball with this, that ship is not going to be anywhere near FL for a long time.
I agree! You would think that with the millions of dollarsthey get from us each year that they could afford a few new flags?

Camp Mickey Minnie in AK
I was also found on Geni.com by a relative who lives in Chile. If anyone is interested in working on Family Trees, that website is amazing.
With this post we are back to page one.

So........ I have some very astounding news!
I was on FB the other day when I was editing my profile.(Don't y'all be shaking your heads because there is actually a point to this story!)
So anyway, I was editing my profile when I noticed I joined a bunch of groups since I joined in the fall of 2008. My plan was to delete them but........
The first group I clicked on was "Kiss Me I'm Norwegian".(I was fresh out of high school, what'dya expect?!
) I scrolled thru the very top posts to see if there was anything interesting when one woman's post caught my eye. She had posted something about her family heritage and what the last name of one of her ancestors. It just so happened to be the same last name of one of my ancestors. I decided to comment on her post and ask her if there was even the slightest chance we could possible be related. Figured it'd be a long shot that she would even respond back and an even longer shot that we would be related.
Not only did my comment receive my response but it turns out we were related!!!The lady happened to be a cousin of my maternal grandmother. It is a small, small world!
I also got a message the next day which happened to come from the daughter of another one of my grandma's cousins! She said she had seen my post, told her mom about it, and they looked me up! I was told by both women that if I needed any information about my family tree, they'd be most happy to supply!!
And all of this happened because I joined a silly little group almost 3 years ago.Who would have thunk?
And just so you know, since y'all have 'enlightened' me...
"Taking the West by Magic"..the next cruise after ours has 'taken on the challenge' as it were on their thread. Someone on their thread posted how many we have...
Hey, we just chat...cuz' we're happy, and
and excited!!!!![]()
I have a cool "Ya never know where your family is" story.
We have friends of the family who decided to go to Italy to see the small town where his father was born. His father had passed away the year prior.
So off to Italy Billy and his wife Barbara go. Now, Billy's real first name is Sebastian, but he never liked it and always went by his middle name, William.
They get to the town and they keep looking around the streets, going in circles trying to find the house that his father was born in. Almost giving up, they spot two little old men sitting on the bench across the street. They approach and in Italian, Billy asks them if they know where the address is, because his father was born in that house.
The men look a the address, then look at Billy and go "Sebastian" is that you?
Turns out it was his father's brother and they hadn't seen Billy since he was three. The house had just been torn down a few months prior to them arriving.
But the two men took Billy and his wife home for dinner and he got to meet the extended family with cousins and second cousins that he would never have known.
Ya never know!
Imagine, out of all of the people to ask for directions, it was his Uncle.
