Well I have just been really trying to watch what I eat. I cut out most of the processed foods and have been eating lots of fruits and vegetables. I have to stay away from the candy/valentines isles at walmart. :rotfl2: I also bought the 5 factor fitness book and have been using that and it is great. It uses hand weights and is only 25 min 5 days a week. Plus I have an eliptical and a Total Gym that I use at home and I switch off using those a couple days a week. I have a Wii too that I use a couple games on. The Biggest Loser one and the Gold Gyms dance workout. I find that switching up what I use each week helps since your body does not get used to it. So far it is working.:thumbsup2 I live to far away in the mountains to go to a gym. Just remember it all comes down to calories in and calories out.

I checked out the 5 Factor book. It looks good. My library doesn't have it, but I may order it from Amazon. Thanks for the recommendation!

We look forward to crashing the wedding from our happy spot. We'll take a few pics for you.

Hi all! Please don't mind my newbie-ness....

I'm a little lost here..this will be my fourth Disney cruise but first time booking it myself. My parents always did the planning. I persuaded my best friend to go with me so I wouldn't have to go solo this time. Are there any requirements other than being booked for this cruise? I keep seeing posts about the 6th deck but I'm on the 5th. Also, does anyone know where I post for the fish extender thing? And is this just a place to make friends before going or are there meetings on the ship?

Sorry for all the questions. I just don't want to miss out on anything!

Just booked our third Disney Magic cruise! It's going to be great! Cruising with my husband, daughter and 23 month old granddaughter! Oh and my 92 year old dad! What an age range! Disney is fun for EVERYONE...the young and young at heart!

:welcome: aboard the Magic in Paradise cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. Which itineriaries have you done? We have done 2 Westerns and 2 Easterns on the Magic.
You certainly will win the most varied in ages. I hope we can keep up with your dad. A Disney cruise is for everyone and hope your family has a great time.

At least you only have 8 months to wait for the cruise. We have been doing the countdown since Oct 2009. :scared1:

:welcome: aboard the Magic to Paradise cruise. Do not worry about asking questions. The only bad question is the one not asked. As for all the talk about deck 6 has to do with there happens to a large number of DISser booked on deck 6. Deck 5 is a great deck as well. It is a quiet area since there are a lot fewer staterooms on this deck. Octoberbride03 is handling the FE exchange and I am sure she will be responding soon to your inquiry. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Everyone is very friendly here and will try to answer the best we can.

I see you put you are located in pa. Which part of the state? Philly, Pitt?

Cool. Beautiful area. I and my $$$ went to PSU and drove through Harrisburgh many times since. Hope the snow has not been too bad for you.

I know! We live right next to a creek and it is soo beautiful!! The snow hasn't been too bad. It has been the ice that has been a real pain in the tush! Luckily, I carpool with my brother to work and I don't have to drive to HACC for classes. I just take my courses online. (I'm only 20 if you can believe it) :yay:

I've never been to Delaware but I'd love to visit sometime.

Oh, and so I don't forget......I'm stateroom 5633

The occupants include:

Serena (that's me): age 21
Nicole: age 21

Our door probably won't be too hard to find.......It's gonna have some hard core decorations! We have the second seating for dinner so hopefully some of us will be in the same dining area! Yay!!!!!!

We have decided to go to WDW next month for a week. My daughter has Spring break then and she will meet us there. We will be staying at the Animal Kingdom Villas. We normally like to stay at the Beach Club Villas but everything is sold out everywhere. We will stay about a week and then stop by Hilton Head for a couple of days on the way home.

Anyone else there in March?
It is the start of the International Flower and Garden Show.

Had a meeting tonight and then home to catch the last 10 minutes of NCIS, and of course NCIS:LA I'm addicted what can I say:rotfl2:

My shows are done now, and I've regained some lost brain cells. Though how long they plan on staying I have no idea:rolleyes1

Your friendly FE Organizer here. I see you need a few more posts before you do the PMs. So if you are signing up, you can email me(see first post) or run up your post count to 10(I think:rotfl:) and then pm me with your info. And if you just have questions before you decide please fire away.

And this is the place to make friends before we board. This proves handy because on my last cruise I grabbed I had to grab 1 of those friends to help us choose pictures:lmao: There will be at least 1 meeting on the ship but nothing set in stone yet as to place/time etc. And if you like somebody on this thread well enough you may consider linking reservations to be seated together for supper. Lots of possibilities:thumbsup2

Oh I am list keeper for the thread as well. Your basic info is on the spreadsheet. When you're ready to add more just let me know and I'll add it in. :wizard:

Hey Melissa my DH jogged my memory on the rainforest room. Basically you wanna think of a really well appointed sauna, with stone benches, chaises etc. now that I remember, I might still not do the week, but if I am really worn out like I was the last time i would definitely do it the first day. Very soothing on tired/sore muscles. Now the only variable is my cochlear speech processor. If I go in this time I may leave it off and just do quiet time in there. Even though I this 1 will more waterproof than the 1 i had for the last cruise.

KellyJean: you should come over to the WISH Boards and the Biggest Loser thread. that's what I'm doing. No specific program lately due to the neighborhood but BL keeps me motivated not to go too far off the deep end. Can join any time during the challenge. And there are quite a few doing the Princess:thumbsup2

OK, now someone please tell me I am not losing what little mind I have left, when I ask if the colors on the Cruise board are different

Ok...I'll bite Maureen! Can you give us newbies some FE info? For instance, do you have to include FE's for your whole family? Since we're in 3 cabins, not sure the older set and the young adults want to take part. Are there alot of folks (ie: more than 50?), and if so, do you split up groups, or everyone do all? Do you do FE's for just one day or every day? Do you make homemade or buy and do you put limits or is it anyone's choice? And how do you get all that on the ship with all the luggage? See...popcorn:: some of us have been looking but afraid to ask!:rolleyes1

Please bare with me..... pm? Not quite sure what that stands for with the exception of some type of messaging. The only thing that comes to mind is post messaging? And which first post am I looking at? I'm a little slow sometimes...

Anywho..this brings my post count up to 7!

Additionally, what other information is needed?

Thank you!

Glad I'm not alone in this! Another question to add, is there a theme for the gifts? I noticed some people use pirate stuff but some bring things from their hometown to use as souvinirs. I thought it was neat to see people in England that partake in this as well. Its really neat that this is spreading to international folks too!
