Hey, I finally was smart enough to get my ticker working.:lmao: I had to go through tech support and use their link.
Maureen, I just saw that you and DH have main seating for dinner just like us. Maybe we will get to be tablemates. I hope others jump on our thread soon. Like you said, by the end of the year most people will have travel plans for next year in place.:yay:

I completely forgot that about the seating:rotfl:

We had late seating on our first cruise and though we loved it, it made doing things like eating at the desert buffet and the Pirate night buffet undoable. Took pictures certainly, but didn't eat anything there, because we literally finished our meal maybe 10 minutes before. Although there was a huge line just to wait for the doors to open at the dessert buffet which didn't start till midnight, but still I was full. So even though main seating is a bit earlier than our usual meal time I think it will better.

On our last cruise quite a few of us from the thread decided to share tables at our seatings and it worked out quite nicely.

But I think once the fall vacationers come back( and we'll be going on vacation ourselves the first week of Oct.) then things will pick up here. :dance3:

Good morning fellow cruisers. It is that time of the week again. Another week has gone by.
We now have only 54 weeks to go to the Magic. :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Yay! Only 2 weeks until the 1 year mark.

OK, that doesn't sound so great, but it's getting closer!

Hi All!
We are booked in room 6628 right now... but I think we might have to move rooms since we just had a baby - which makes us a party of 4 instead of 3.
This is our second DCL cruise - but our first 7 night cruise!

Welcome aboard :welcome:

We are down the hall in 6616. Congrats on your new addition to the family. We have previously done 2 Easterns so if you have any questions regarding the Magic or the ports please do not hesitate to ask.

We stayed in 6546 two years ago and we had no issues. Please see below for a link to the room reviews. The first one that is negative makes no sense to me. It says the room is AFT when it is Mid/Forward. It mentions engine noise and being that forward there is no way you are going to hear loud engine noises. We noticed no such noises two years a few doors down. I think the reviewer put down the wrong stateroom number. We are cruising a 7 day Western in three weeks and can check it out if you want.

yep - we just got moved into cabin 6540!
I hope it's a good one!

:welcome:

So thrilled to have you. Glad you moved to a room you can be comfy in and congrats on your new baby.:cloud9: 1 year and 2 weeks to go and they cannot go fast enough for me. You're gonna love cruising for 7 days. My Dh refuses to do anything less than that, he loved it so much last time:rotfl: And deck 6 is great. We have the same cabin as our last trip but I'd stay anywhere on the deck. :thumbsup2

Yeah, I read those and the first one made no sense to me either.
I'm looking forward to our trip!
But nervous about traveling with a 1 year old!

Welcome Jas!!! and congrats on your baby!:cheer2: I bet you will love the 7 day cruise since it seems like so much more time to relax. It is great that you are right by the rest of us again. We will have a party over in 66, LOL!:rotfl: I am really looking forward to this trip and meeting everyone after a year.

I'm up for a party. Somebody can bring a mixer and we can have a nightly get together.

We are in cabin 6050 for now.

DH and I are not entirely 100% sure we are keeping this cruise, although I hope that we are. We sail on the DCL Western on October 30th and depending upon whether any new, fabulous sailings have been released by then (Fantasy, anyone?) we just may shift our date to take advantage.

That being said, I still hope we keep this cruise! I think it would be great to cruise for our 15th wedding anniversary!
