Good morning fellow cruisers. It is that time of the week again. Another week has gone by.
We now have only 62 weeks to go to the Magic.

Sorry I haven't been on that much. We are taking the October 30, 2010 Western Cruise and I am neck deep in planning that. I get to book our excursions, Palo and spa ressies at midnight August 1st!

We are on the Oct 16, 2010 Western. We'll let you know all the drydock changes you'll see two weeks later. Which excusions did you pick? We are doing the 7 mile beach break for Grand Cayman, the trolley for Key West and just walk around Cozumel. We are going to hit all three Margaritaville's on all the islands. We booked the Dolphin Encounter and Turtle Farm for Grand Cayman. For Cozumel, a large number of Dis families decided to book Nachi Cocom, the private beach club, so we are doing that. Since they only take about 100 people, it looks like our cruise meet thread has booked the place completely! For Key West, we are going to do the Olde Town Trolley because I want the ability to get on and off as the mood strikes us.

I booked two spa ressies (one exotic rasul for DH & I and one facial for me). I booked dinner for Palo, but sadly, could not get a brunch or high tea reservation...they were all snapped up. I'll keep repeatedly checking (especially at the 75 day mark), but I think our chances are slim. I guess I will pay a visit to Rockin D' Bar on the first day to see if they have any availability.

Book a B2B and you can get to gold in no time and have a Magical time of it. Also I am not sure if you saw it but another DISser posted a link to coupons for the Old Towne Trolley that may of use to you in 60 days. Please see below.

OMG Is it time to go yet???

I need 2010 to over with. Every month its something. Fortunately we just had 4 days of R&R up at Rehoboth. We so needed it. Was a wonderful trip. Next up is Gettysburg first week of Oct. Can't wait for that 1. That'll be fun. Then its a year till the cruise. Oh boy oh boy

Hi! I am new here on Disboards but not new to Disney. I have booked our first ever cruise and of course it will be Disney. It is DH and myself only. We are on 11B stateroom 6635 so far. We have main seating since DH has to eat early. We can't wait until our cruise. It seems so far away. We actually have a our 3rd trip to DW booked for Dec 4-13 and it will be our first time there during Christmas. I cannot believe I have 2 Disney trips booked!!!

Welcome aboard. Its been a quiet thread so far, but we're just a little over a year away Last night as I went to bed I was thinking its time to pull out my Passporter and start the actual planning We are right next to each other for staterooms. Dh and I are in 6633 and just the 2 of us as well.

I am so jealous about your 2 trips . I am dying to go for Christmas. but we haven't had the money. I'm hoping to get a new job, which would finance that.

I know a few of our fellow cruisers are going to be on DCL shortly so hopefully it won't be long before this thread picks up.

That is too crazy that we are next door shipmates! HA! I have both passporters (DW & Cruise) read and reread and reread.... I am a planning fanatic and want to know everything I can about everywhere we go. I can't wait until more people sign in about this cruise. For us newbies it is pretty scary. We plan on getting in the Friday before and stay at the Hyatt and want to try and get on the ship asap of course.

2. I think it is great that we can meet people on here and get to meet them on the ship. Do you guys have a meet planned?
3. We are actually thinking about doing an Alaskan cruise in 2013 summer so can you book that onboard that far out? It would be about 20 months?

This is the thread to find out about that. We haven't actually started planning it yet. But I know I want 1. Did 1 on the last cruise and it was such a great way to add to the fun.
2. I think it is great that we can meet people on here and get to meet them on the ship. Do you guys have a meet planned?
No meets planned yet. The good news is we have a year to go so plenty of time to put them together. I will admit that on the last cruise we went to the meet at the restaurant the night before the cruise and just completely forgot about the ones on the ship

You should definitely be able to book that onboard. We are going in Oct. 2011 and the rates for 2012 should be out very soon. As long as they stick with Sept. release dates I think you'll be fine booking for 13. Can't guarantee the Alaska itinerary though.

Definitely as excited for this cruise as I was the last time. I hope to be a little LESS wiped out on this cruise as opposed to the last 1. Last time we sat down on the ship and that was it. Boy did we need a vacation. And that's exactly what the cruise is VACATION I also plan to have a bit more money available for this 1, so this time I am booking excursions at the ports. Need to decide whether to stick with DCL or go with an island agent. So if any of our experienced cruisers have thoughts on that I'd love to hear them.

I think this thread will pick up as soon as some of this year's cruisers finished their trips and then its on to the next.

As far as organizing different ideas for meets go. I'm open to anything as long as I'm not organizing everything
