That sounded good. I went back and checked though and it was more (we're only paying for a 4 nighter right now) and I'm pretty sure it was just about the cheapest cruise I could find. I think I'll be able to find SOMETHING after the Magic drydocks or the Wonder. I thought about something out your way too, as I've never seen CA and would LOVE TOO! But thank you for the suggestion!

If he'd have bothered to show up we would have had it back this week. Not gonna happen now. Dealer fought for a new adjustor and won. And we know from past experience that they will grade our adjustor and send it to Allstate as SOP. So this week has just sucked. I think I'm gonna make Richard call our agent and see about hte rental. He's had All state for 20+ years. Oughta count for something
I am REBOOKED! ButMy card said I had to rebook by Dec of this year, so I got on the phone quick. What I really want is a 2013 date, as I also really want a trip to WDW next spring. I feel bad for all those 'wants'...and they may or may not come true. However, after almost an hour on the phone ( I do wonder if she knew what she was doing as she kept saying ..."Let me go check"..) I rebooked for Oct '12 on the Dream. However, I told her we never know dh's schedule and won't have a clue as to our dates for a while. I asked specifically if I had to cancel and rebook in 2013, could I keep that 10% discount and she said yes. But, she wouldn't allow me more than one cabin. She did say if my adult kids get their snailmail, THEN we could check on getting cabins together. I'll worry about that one when time comes. I just knew if I wanted that 10% I had to book by Dec. I also asked since I was using my Disney Visa if I would get a obc with the visa, and she said "Not with this promotion". But I'll take it anyway and see what happens when the Magic's 2013 dates come out. Still tickled pink anyway. My 20% down was

This week has just gone straight down the tubes and it is killing me that my next cruise is 3 years off without an actual itinerary or date set. Soooo... that means no new meet thread to visit, no FE gifts to plan or make. No hotel reservations to settle etc.
Meanwhile my job has hit the Christmas rush season and i worked half an hour late on Monday. Found out from the dealer that our first thoughts about the adjustor assigned to my car repairs were correct. He is a lazy SOB who hasn't bothered to show up for inspections and approve work for the car. Meanwhile the rental is good for $900 and after that we get to pay for it
We're not going until 2013 for sure, and really want the smaller ships, so I'll be in this 'mode' for a while. Sorry your week has gone down the tubes, and hope it gets better for you soon!

Nope, sadly they didn't. Which is WHY I went ahead and just booked a short cruise so I could get the discount. My card said I had to book by Dec 14 of this year, and I knew I could wait, but the cruises weren't going to do anything but go UP, so I did it. I did make sure though that she'd let me cancel and rebook with the same discount...so here's hoping she's right! I wonder if they know what the dates will be since the Magic is drydocking? Does anyone know how long it takes for a drydock? And when that's taking place?
