Magic In Paradise: 10/8-10/15 2011. All cruisers check in here. (#2)

I'd like to have a photo scavanger hunt on board with my guests breaking into teams and taking pictures in front of, or with different things/places.

This is my first cruise, so I am not familiar with landmark places or even hard to find places for bonuses on board. Can you guys help me with naming some fun things or places to get pictures for them?

Note, I have them seeking some of you out. So if a stranger knocks on your door and wants to take a picture of you in front of your Fish Extender, it is one of my family! Don't be afraid, they don't bite....usually.

Any other ideas for my list?

Here is what I have so far:

I wish I could help on locations but this newbie doesn't know..yet anyway.

Not that I drink that much, but a small amount in my carry-on can make vacation a little more vacation-y.
Would you consider an email from guest relations to be "official".

Looks like the change is true folks

Dear Rebecca,

Thank you for choosing a Disney Cruise Line vacation!

I would be happy to assist you.

Beginning September 19, 2011, a change is being implemented regarding
the amount and types of alcohol that can be brought onboard on
embarkation day.

On embarkation day, Guests 21 years of age and older may bring on board
one unopened bottle (750ml) of wine or champagne or six bottles/cans (12
oz.) of beer per person. The drinks must be hand-carried in a day bag
and/or carry-on luggage. Carry-on luggage dimensions cannot exceed 22"
wide, 14" high and 9" deep.

Guests can still take a bottle of wine or champagne to the restaurant
for dinner. If you request a Wine Steward to open and serve a bottle of
champagne or wine that has been brought onboard a corking fee will be
charged per bottle.

If you open the bottle in the stateroom and bring it into the dining
room, you will still be charged a corking fee.

Please be aware, Guests are unable to consume alcohol that has been
brought onboard in any lounge or public area.

In addition, Disney Cruise Line reserves the right to remove fragile
items (including beverages) from checked luggage. In such cases, any
alcohol will be discarded with no remuneration offered. Beverage
containers are considered fragile and have previously caused damage in
checked luggage. All fragile items must be transported inside carry-on
luggage.

All beer/wine/champagne, over the allowable 1-bottle per Guest limit in
carry-on luggage will also be confiscated and discarded without
compensation.

Guests may bring aboard unopened/sealed alcoholic/non-alcoholic
beverages from the ports visited during the itinerary in accordance with
the stated U.S. Customs allowances.

I hope this information has been helpful. If you require further
assistance in planning your visit, please feel free to contact us.

We look forward to sailing with you!

Thought I would share this with y'all, I am very disappointed with this!:sad2::sad2:

That totally sucks. :scared1: At least we can still drink what we bring on board from the ports and they didn't change that. They will def lose people with this change.

OK, I just read on the alcohol change thread that Disney has already changed this policy as of today. It went back to the old policy but reserves the right to change at any time. SO.... it has not changed as of now.:thumbsup2

Geez.. I sound like a drunk.:scared1: We actually don't drink that much but it does save money when you can bring a bottle of rum with you for those first 3 days. I need to save whatever I can so I can go on another cruise.:rotfl::woohoo:

Tigger! Awesome list!

I knew you guys would come through!

Thanks!

If you want some hard ones let me know and we can make it interesting. The list I gave you will keep them running around the ship have fun finding these pretty easily.

Our tee shirts are ready. They were ready on Friday, but due to Irene we did not pick them up. My sister is picking them up this Saturday, and then ship them down to me, because I am not getting back up to her house before the cruise. Gotta love the weather.

I believe I have replied to everybody who sent me payment for their shirts. If you paid and have not gotten a return email please let me know ASAP. I am sending a check to my sister for the final amount owed tomorrow morning.

Thanks everybody:thumbsup2
