Horray! Second thread!

OK guys, I'm getting a bit jittery here when thinking about how to get my dress to the boat.

We're flying out on JetBlue and they tell me they have no cabin closets, so I need to put the dress in a garment bag and lay it on top of the luggage.

My biggest fear is getting there and then having to check it. The garment bag I have is not a "luggage" type that folds over and is just like a cotton cover like you would get at the dry cleaners. I'm more afraid they are going to ask me to check it.

I think I should go and purchase a real garment bag, just in case I need to check it.

I have no experience with garment bags on Jetblue. But I will tell you I've flown them a lot and they by far are my favorite airline; sans the Steve Slater incident...although I thought that was hilarious. I fly LOTS of miles every year. They are helpful, cordial and accommodating. They are even better than Southwest.

I am confident if you tell them, they will do everything they can to accommodate you and take care of you. Here's a little extra

I'm heading out tomorrow for the weekend! I'll be back Monday, don't start that 3rd thread without me!! I'm going to California for a couple reasons....celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary, visiting friends, watching my daughters college soccer games, and most importantly attending an alumni weekend for my college volleyball team! It is the 25th anniversary of our 2nd of two back to back NCAA Div I national championships!! Should be a great weekend!

For anyone thinking of flying in on the day of the cruise. DON"T do it. Anything can happen. This is my story live. I am taking a quick flight from Buffalo to Baltimore. Well a tropical storm is pounding BWI and we were diverted and now I am in Philly. Too bad my car is in Baltimore since Philly is actually closer. Well we are sitting here is Philly for an least the next hour. This adventure started at 3:35pm takeoff from Buffalo. Let see where it ends.

The last time i flew into BWI a month before 9/11 we left late from NM because the plane had to be rebooted and we had to wait for a mechanic, cause pilots were not allowed to do it. Pilot says "NP we'll make it up in the air, weather looks good." We do indeed make it up in the air UNTIL we get to somewhere around OHIO, at that point a system moved in and shut down airports on the ENTIRE Eastern Seaboard No Philly, no BWI, no NOTHING. we just circled around and hoped we had enough gas to last until BWI opened

When we finally land and get off the plane my parents were at the gate wanting to know why we landed so late
