I'm a little confused on them? I see the list of hours on the Disney site, and then some days say they have Magic hours. I know that means they either open earlier, or close later, and I know how to find out which it is...but... So if the time says that Magic Kingdom closes at 11 PM , doe that mean that the yare still open for resort guests another hour(or 3)?
I also read you need to get a bracelet if you plan on staying. Where do yuou get those?

The day we plan to arrive is a Magic day at the Magic kingdom, so I am trying to see how long we will have there. It says it closes at 11, so I assume it is open at least another hour. That would be great, as we won't even get there till around 7 to begin with!

I'm not sure how to find out how many hours they are open afterwards. We would just get that info in the printed bulletin when we checked in, but there are CMs stationed all over the park and you just show them your resort ID and they put bracelets on you.

I think how many hours later they are open probably depends upon when you are going and how busy it is. I know when we went at Easter last year, MK closed at 11 and the EMH went to 2 a.m. The park was just about empty for those three hours!

I guess you didn't understand my question . I know how to find out which days, and I don't care how long, because I know it's between 1-3 hours later. But what I want to know is, the hours posted on the disney website say ..for example that the magic kingdom is open 9-11 and then says Magic hours day. So I assume hat the 11 PM closing is for the regular guest and then it is open at least on hour after wards then??

but thanks for telling me about the bracelets and bullitens.

Yes, the published closing time is the time it closes for general guests. As long as you have a bracelet, you can remain in the park as they are sweeping out all other guests for the extra time. Not all attrations stay open though. There will be a list of which attractions remain open during extra hours. If you aren't getting there until 7pm, you should find the person handing out the wristbands first as they only do this for a certain amount of time and not at front gate (at EPCOT they were giving them out just outside the giftshop). I believe they started handing them out at 7pm.

Our last trip we had a great time at EMH. My DS made a new friend who was staying at the same resort as us and they went on rides together, too cute. When we went back to the resort, they wanted to go swimming-at 2 am!

Just look for stations set up around the parks. MK had 2 by the Liberty Tree Tavern and 1 by the train station. Im sure there were others as well.
