magic express?

silly question alert we flying next year with Thomas cook, i have seen that it takes us into Stanford airport? i think, anyway my question is does the magic express travel to and from this airport to Disney, when i looked online it only mentioned Orlando international (which i thought was a different airport or maybe i have it all wrong)
sorry if i sound a bitty thick, its our first time to Florida, i starting early asking questions so that i hope all goes well when we arrive

As far as I know its just MCO. Sorry. They should provide it though to be honest.

ok that maybe something i will need to ask my travel agent then, looking back on my booking they def have hotel to airport transfers put down, so i wonder what exactly that means and how it works. i just assumed it was the Disney bus but obviously not

If it says you get the airport transfers then you should get them but it just won't be the magical express as that only goes from MCO. Enjoy your planning.

It will be a bus arranged by Thomas Cook, I assume with Mears transport (who also run Disney buses) they do most of the local transfers.
Disney Magical Express as said only runs to MCO, reason a lot prefer that airport over Sanford.

Hello neighbour! We're just a bit north of you in PD.

Sanford airport is also a lot smaller than MCO, so you will be off the plane and out the door in no time.

thanks for all the help going to email my travel agent to find out and confirm that we are getting transfers and where they pick up and drop off. just so i know either way.

It's about 8 years since we last used Sanford airport, but the reps are generally just outside the terminal to direct you to the correct bus.

You will be dropped off right at your hotel's entrance.

I think we were booked with either Thomas Cook or Kuoni the last time we used Sanford and we were actually taken to our hotel in taxi vans. Our return to the airport was by minibus.

thanks for that, i have double checked and we are getting transfers, so it less of a worry, did wonder if it would drop us off at the hotel, so fingers crossed they do.

we went to Disneyland Paris blast year and stayed in the explorer hotel and the bus dropped us off outside the park and we had to take a bus back to the hotel, which although not a long trip is made harder with suitcases and kids in tow

Me and my DBF went with Thomas Cook last year and used their transportation. I can tell you that they pick you up right outside the airport and their are Thomas Cook representatives to tell you where to go.

They then drop you off right outside your Hotel and the transfer took about 45 mins to an hour.

On the way back we got a slip of paper put through our hotel door with a pick up time and a number to ring if there were any problems. I believe the company they use is American something?!?!?

They played a movie for us as well (The Water Horse), it wasn't Disney but something to keep us entertained none the less.

Everything went quite smoothly for us so you should be fine

cove - I wouldn't worry too much. WDW is nothing like DLRP - I can assure you that if you have purchased "resort-hotel transfers" you will not be dropped off anywhere other than your hotel.
