I wil be in Orlando for a conference in October.

My husband will be flying down on my last conference day and we will be extending our trip to go to Disney.
I don't know where I will be staying but I will be there with my entire company and they will have shuttles to take us from the hotel to the airport.

My question is can I take the shuttle with my co-workers back to the airport and then take magic express to our Disney hotel for my extended stay (I could take a cab but since I don't know where I will be am concerned about the cost)

My husband will be arriving around 2pm so the thought would be that I can check in and then we have tickets to the Halloween party.

Hope That Makes sense, TIA

I think you can do this, but you will have to give MDE a fake flight number (they don't actually check to see if you were on the plane). But be aware that although you can check in at the hotel earlier than 3pm, often the room won't be ready until after 3pm (4pm for the DVC villas)

Or you might be able to tell them simply when you're arriving at MCO. If they ask for a flight number, tell them you don't have one.

Sure you can...many of us have done it. Just to simplify things, I would use your dh's flight number for the day you want to use DME. Just plug that flight info into the DME reservation system....a day later than he arrives. Use it for both of you. Hope that makes some sense.

You can absolutely do that. We did this one time when we flew in late and stayed at a hotel near the airport. Just took the free hotel shuttle back to the airport the next morning and jumped on Magic Express. We did give a fake flight number for an early arriving flight that day just to make the process easier, but it doesn't really matter what time you get on ME anyway, as long as you are in the system.

Also, definitely do the online check in and when you give them an estimated arrival time, you can give a morning time for that day. They will just text you when your room is ready. We have had many times when we have arrived in the morning and our room is almost always ready or ready within an hour of arrival. The luggage services can hold your bags for you if the room isn't ready!

I would much rather get my Disney portion of the trip started sooner rather than later!! :mickeyjumHave a great trip!

You are entitled to a ride on DME from the airport to your Disney resort, and a ride back from your Disney resort to the airport regardless of how you get to the airport on arrival day. Just be sure to make a DME reservation in order to be in their system.
