Our flight is supposed to land in Orlando at 1:30pm can we get to Disney Springs by 3pm in time for a TRex ADR? Will the magic express bring us there or we would have to go to the hotel and take another bus ??
Thanks

You will be taken to your resort first, then you need a cab or bus to your next destination.

Personally, I would not make an ADR on arrival day at all and surely not 90 min after landing. So many variables would have to go perfectly right and even then I think 90 min isn't enough. The closest I would even consider making an ADR is 3 hours after scheduled landing, but even then if the cancellation fee will stress you out at all, I'd simply plan on getting quick service that day or checking dining availability on the app upon arrival at your resort.

That timing will be tight. I usually allow 90 min just to get to the resort. ME only goes to the resorts, so depending on where you are staying, you'd then need to wait for a bus (most resorts) or boat ((POR, POFQ, OWW, or SSR), and then get from the bus stop/boat dock to T-REX. I'd suggest making the ADR for 4:30 or later, just to give more wiggle room to allow for late flights, etc.

I'll echo the first 2 replies. While 90 minutes is possible, there's no way I'd risk it. I'd budget a minimum of 3-4 hours.

Thank you so much ! No need to get there and be rushed for sure I really appreciate the feedback !

I'd definitely push the ADR back and also book TRex cafe through the restaurant directly instead of Disney incase you need to cancel.

Do the non-Disney ones not charge the cancellation fee when you book directly? I had always heard they sometimes have better availability when calling direct, but didn't know about cancellation. That would be T-Rex, Rainforest. . . Who else?

Not likely at all.

I'm gonna say not possible at all, from the time you land to the time you get off the plan could be 10-20 min depending how busy the airport is. It could be at least 30 min before you're on DME, that's if you have no checked baggage. Another 20-30 min to get to your resort, who knows how long to check in, 15 min to get to DTD. 'Thats if nothing goes wrong. Id give yourself more time

I booked directly with RainForest for 8 people and they did not take my credit card info. Don't make that 90 min after your plane lands ADR. It will stress you out while you sit on the bus waiting up to a half hour for it to fill up before it starts rolling, then stops at other resorts first. It will stress you out looking at your watch and start your whole vacation off wrong. Get a Landrys card for walk up at rainforest or TRex. It costs 25 bucks and you get a discount on your meal.

Having checked baggage doesn't have any effect on accessing DME if you use the service as designed. It would only matter if you dont use the luggage tags and need to go to baggage claim first.

No cancellation fee. Any of the restaurants not Disney owned usually take their own reservations. You can also check out open table- not sure if the Landry restaurants are on there but last month Morimoto Asia was completely booked through Disney when we were trying to get a ressie but had TONS of availability through open table.

DME takes you to your resort. You will not leave the airport until 2 or after. There is no way you will make a 3pm ADR at Disney Springs.

Ah yes of course. This is coming from a Canadian, so it effects us lol.

It only affects Us (CDNs) if we have not cleared US customs at our departure airport & have to get our bags before heading to customs - or like everyone else, if our flight lands after 10pm ;)

You can't count on flights being on time. I saw a post on facebook the other day where a couple's flight to Disney was delayed 3 or 4 hours due to mechanical issues.
