MAGIC Eastern Caribbean Nov 9-16, 2014

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list pixiedust:
Have a great cruise!

Looks like we maybe sailing on this one! Very excited to sail the Magic again - post-refurb

I think I may book this. Watching the re-imagining has gotten me excited to sail on her again. Not sure if it will just me and and my DGS 7 or if his parents will come too. Has anyone actually booked it?

We are booked on this cruise for now. I think it is where we will stay but my last cruise I changed four times and ending up sailing on the original chosen date lol.
My boys will be 13,10,5 they really want to sail on the magic. And the eastern is an itinery we have not done yet. Still watching Alaskan cruises. If we switch that would be our choice.
We are from Pittsburg and would be driving to port. We love Disney and have gone every yr for past ten yrs. this cruise will be our fifth.

We are booked for this trip. It will be DW DD8 DM and myself in the Walt Disney Suite. I'm super excited...we are Pop people at WDW so this is really a treat. This will be the first cruise of any sort for everybody in our group.

We are booked on this one too & will be ur neighbors 2 doors down for a week. This will be our first disney cruise in conceirge! Very excited! It will b myself, dh & dd will be 4.5 on this cruise. This will be our 3rd disney cruise unless we take one I am considering in May. Just returned from a magical Halloween in WDW. Trying to get as much magic as possible while dd is at this adorable princess stage.

We are planning a pre-stay at WDW before this cruise.

Awesome! I am so lost on this one I don't even know where to start planning.

Other than the pre-nights at WDW, I have only looked at the excursions. Of the ports, we have only been to Castaway Cay before.

Things I know I want to book @ WDW are Be Our Guest & Cinderella Round Table. On the cruise - cabana @ castaway will b our splurge. We split one with another family on the last cruise and DH LOVED it!

We booked this sailing while on the Fantasy last week. I'm excited but also a little "nervous". We sailed the Wonder twice in 2009 and 2010. But have since sailed the Dream twice and the Fantasy. I'm wondering what it is going to be like going back to the smaller ship after having sailed these the last several years.

We have only been on the Magic. I was very tempted to book the Fantasy for this one, but finally decided to stick with the Magic for couple reasons - (1) 1/2 the people on Castaway Cay ;) & (2) about $2,000 less for a comparable category- just couldn't figure out how to justify one. We LOVE the Magic & hoe you will too.

I was wondering also if the verandah's now connect on the Magic. That was one thing we really enjoyed on the Fantasy and Dream, being able to connect our 4 verandah's.

Starting to think about pre & post nights for this one. My original thought was we would do 3 pre-nights at WDW, but when I was looking at the flight schedules I changed my mind. I think we are going to do 1 pre-night at the Hyatt or near the port & 3-4 post nights at WDW. Reason are flights there take up over 1/2 day of WDW park time, return flights after the cruise get us home very late (long travel day), if we go from Port to WDW we get an extra full park day & return flight can be much earlier than post cruse. Haven't booked the flights or hotels yet, but I am considering trying the port Orleans French quarter.

Found a great rate that includes breakfast, wifi and a2 room 540 sq ft suite @ the Doubletree WDW - room is $25 a night less than port Orleans plus we get breakfast.

Welcome. This will be our 3rd DC - all on the Magic. We sailed last May out of Galveston. Comparing the embarkation & debarkation - Port Canaveral is much better/smoother experience IMO. It's myself, DH and DD 4 1/2. We also had an awesome Facebook group & FE group on our last cruise.

Thanks for the welcome! We haven't told the kids yet, it was a LONG 6 months when we told our 5 yr old last time!:rotfl2: Galveston processing wasn't bad but I can definitely see why they pulled out. PC is further for us but heard its pretty nice.

We loved sailing out of PC the first cruise. Checked luggage, magically appeared at our cabin door. Then from outside our cabin door magically to home airport - not dealing with the luggage through customs was a HUGE plus.

We loved the cruise we took out of Galveston, we did an 8 night that had a day at WDW and we really LOVE the @ sea days. And we love the Disney Magic and can't wait to see the ship since the updates.

We are in Little Rock, so Galveston was easier travel wise for us.
