Is there anything in writing about what changes will happen to the Magic when it goes into DryDock this year? Just curious. A friend told me she had seen something, but I wasn't sure.

They are going to physically attach my house to the top deck and I will accept a Bohemian citizenship.

Dream on HeelMD...

It would be nice if they would create some good hiding spots so we wouldn't have to get off the ship....but, alas they always find us.

Seriously - I've been wondering the same thing....ANYONE??

You're the cast member... you should be telling us the inside scoop :) I did read on another thread that they're going to be doing some remodeling on deck 9 or 10? I wish I could live on board as well, however I would need a wheel barrel to get on and off from eating too much after awhile!! Ok, I heard they're adding a little more space or something for better viewing area or something??? I'm sure someone will give more here... we've gotta know!!

There we go, thanks!!!

Found this on another post...

Drydock Plans
The Disney Magic will be in drydock October 1-14, 2005. During the 14-night Westbound Panama Canal cruise (May 14-28, 2005), Tom McAlpin, President of Disney Cruise Line, gave a presentation to passengers and mentioned that the following changes will be made to the Magic during drydock this fall:

A Jumbotron screen will be added on one of the stacks so that Disney can offer movie nights at the pool and multimedia presentations during deck parties.
The fitness room will be expanded by extending the floor out over the bridge, which will double the room for workout equipment.
Part of the Spa will be reworked to create more couples treatment rooms.
The conference rooms will be transformed into a kids' space with an interactive "bridge" that allows kids to pretend they are sailing and docking a cruise ship.
Also, Castaway Cay will be getting a "swim with stingrays" program that is expected to open in Fall 2005.

"The conference rooms will be transformed into a kids' space with an interactive "bridge" that allows kids to pretend they are sailing and docking a cruise ship."

We had heard on the July 2nd cruise nothing that specific, but that they were going to move/expand the kids are to deck 2. That is where the conference rooms are. So maybe there is some truth to that.

Also, we have heard rumors that wireless access may be available. Do not know how true that one is though.
