Magic Double-dip "SCOOP AWAY THE POUNDS"

. I did my exercize bike during the storm (it didn't need electricity, and it helped ward off some of the storm stress :) ) and did 2 miles on the treadmill yesterday, plus all the debris pick-up. (OW!) .

Sounds like an award winning work out to me! :thumbsup2

I need to go 'hula-hoe' the front yard.....any second now.....well, maybe after a nap.

There's a line in "The Devil Wears Prada" where one of the girls says she's just one good case of the flu away from her ideal weight. Nope not a good way to diet.

Hope you are feeling better right away....make sure DCL knows about your alergy (oh, wait, planning god has surely already handled this) ;)
They didn't have a problume with it last time. I have never had a mushrooms issues at any of the Disney Praks or restruants. I hae only been out of bed for about two hours to day though. the note book is getting a work out today.

I took the boys out to dinner last night at Macaroni Grill (was very good BTW - I did the make your own meal -Whole wheat pasta, garlic sauce, veggies and chicken, and only ate about a third of it). Oldest son found a fly in his spaghetti! :sad2: He was stirring the sauce into the noodles, and a stunned fly came crawling out of the noodles and onto his plate! I told him that's what you get when you order meat sauce :rotfl: They gave him a new meal and did not charge him. I found the whole ordeal sort of funny!

Devin...hope you're feeling better!

I agree, Jackie, I think Linda's storm clean-up qualifies as a Work Out of the Week entry. If there's no others, I vote for Linda's this week! (I'm guessing standing in the kitchen for 5 hours today, making 3 different cookie recipes for tomorrow's block party doesn't count as a "work-out", though my back is aching!:))

A fly, Wendy?? Ugh!! I would have been pretty grossed out at the time, but would have hopefully found the humor later...

WE sell all the bags and boxes and shipping things to the company that makes all of their raviolis Josephs Pasta in Haverhill MA. Have a freezer full of lobster, mushroom (not for me), and butternut squash raviolis. I use them for hors d'oeuvres. I deep fry them. They also do the Olive Garden. Buy them at the store of you can find them they sell them at Costco and BJ's
A friend of mine had the same type of experance at Betrechuis.

It’s usually a 12 to 24 hour thing depending on how much I get in my belly. I am just about over it now. The worse part aside from the possibility of death is I feel really week for a day or so.

Devon
Glad your feeling better. It is really scary to have food allergies.
Wendy
Yuck!!! I would be totally grossed out but like you find it pretty funny in a weird way.
I missed a few days and you guys have been really chatty :teeth: It really amazes me hwo hard weight lose is . Have a good day everyone.

Just had grilled cheese and soup first real food I have a had since Friday night. I had a single packet of regular oat meal last night at about midnight. I gained bake my missing 3 lbs though. I have done nothing but drink water, I am sure I was very dehydrated

Wendy, I would have been :rotfl2: if that had happened to one of my boys. Reminds me of the time we were in Animal Kingdom and a bird flew over and pooped on my son's head. We were falling over laughing, but he didn't think it was too funny.

Morning Double Dippers. I can finally report a HALF pound loss....I'll take it man! Any kind of DOWN is good. And I'm planning on another pound and a half by next Monday. How, you ask....EXERCISE. Yes, a small step has been taken in that direction. Went over to TiggersPal's house last night to swim...was in the pool MAYBE 20 minutes when a lightning storm hit, so I came home and put on a WATP exercise tape! I've got the gym shoes and tee shirt in the car, so I'm ready to hit the gym at work and a clean swimsuit and towel, so I'm ready to hit the pool at a moments notice. I'm hitting the 20 pound mark by the 11th, CARNFLABBIT!

REMEMBER THE DOLPHINS!

Hey Spotdude! I just realized I don't have you on our page one list. Let me know your total so far, so I can add you to the tally.

BTW, "Bubba" weighs about 179 and change right now! Remember everyone, next time you are tempted by that extra serving....just 'give it to Bubba' instead. ::yes::

OH NO.......

Guess what my boss brought me back from her cruise....

A TORTUGA RUM CAKE!!!!!! How can I NOT try it????? This puppy is going into the refrigerator....I'll have half this weekend and the other half next weekend. It's only 4 oz and half the cake is 200 calories...not awful for a dessert (what's that....4 WW points?)

I started at 232 in July or late June and I am down to 209. (The scale says 203 but I was sick and I think that it will come back up to 209 no mater what I do) I am going for 185 but I would be happy with anything under 200. I am trying to build some muscle. I have been very lazy the last couple years. Three years ago I really worked on it and I was down to 185 a real 185. Plenty of muscle my mother en-laws fat counter scale said I had 9% fat. (I don't want to look like Arnold I just want to get something that I had back. I hate feeling weak, fat and out of breath. ) Now I don't even want to look. I am sure it's around 15 or 20% I figure if I can stay between 185 and 200 with under 12% fat I'll be alright. (That is my goal anyway)

Ok now I am depressed I am going to bed. Chat at you tomorrow.

Remember that .5 I lost? Well...........his 'partner' ran off and joined him this morning! One more to go for my mini-goal!

EXCELLENT! Down 23 pounds! :thumbsup2 Celebrate that, young man. Go to the grocery store and pick up a 20 lb box of kitty litter (Ok, that's what I was carrying when I noticed what 20 would feel like) and schlep that around for a while...you'll appreciate what you've accomplished already!

Hey....this means Bubba has hit the 200 pound mark! Good going everyone....now let's build him a wife! ::yes::

Let me add my 2.2 for the week. I am now down a total of 43. I may make that 50 before the end of the month after all. YEAH

Congrats Jackie and Devin. Weigh to go.

You guys inspire me in more ways than you know. Thanks so much for being here and doing this as a group. It is great.
