Magic cruise on 11/30

Barb,

Try WalMart or Target for the over-the-door hanger. They will be in the housewears section, by the laundry stuff. My mom and I each bought one for our respective staterooms. One was bought at Target (in Worcester) and the other in WalMart.

Just came from the Disney Store to get more Disney dollars. I was telling the CM we leave for our cruise in less than 6wks and I almost cried!

Our local newspaper "Travel" section had 3 Disney ads in this weekend. One was a photo of the ship with 3 kids and Captain Hook. They were all excited and wanted me to show them where our rooms is on the boat. They also asked if Captain Hook would be there for their cruise. I said "Of course he will, so will Snow White and Mickey Mouse." Their smiles were huge!
I told them again how mom and dad would be doing adult stuff during the day and that they get to go to the fun kid's club. My daughter is teasing us saying that she wants to eat dinner at the club (I am sure that she won't want to, as she will almost always choose us over anyone else). Anyway, it is looking like they understand what will be happening and are excited about it.

Did you decide which flight you are taking out of newark on thanksgiving? What airline are you on?

Is anyone going to the parks before?
I'm wondering if it's gonna be crazy the day after thanksgiving. We wanted to go to MGM and see the Playhouse Disney Live. We were there abut 18 months ago or so and they did not have it then.
Anyone staying at the Swan/Dolphin hotels before?

Id love to have some kind of excitement out of either DS or DH - that's why I gotta come here guys or Id burst! DS is getting DHs attitude "tell me where I have to be, when and shut up about it" Hey the kid gets it from the Dad.

What are you guys going to wear on formal night? DH plans on buying a black suit or renting a tux. I have a "little black dress" and also have some other dressy clothes, but don't have anything "shiny" like silver or gold sequins. What are you wearing? Should I buy something "shiny"?

Im trying to get DH into a tux for both formal & semi-formal nights. I have 3 long skirts w/matching tops. Black print for formal night - was thinking of something shiny that's what alot do on the ships but havent found/bought anything yet.
I have a diff black print for semi-formal night. And if DH wears his tux a 3rd night (hey he said he might) I might wear my blue print to Lumiere's.
Im still trying to sched Palos dinner for either formal or semi-formal night in case DH doesnt want to dress up the 3rd night.
I believe in comfort - long skirts/elastic waist with no nylons and flat shoes so I dont fall.

Hey Everyone!
I have been off the last few days so I have some catching up to do!
Lori, we will be flying out of Boston at 10a ....we will take the 12:30 or 2:45 on Continental. We are going to play it by ear. There is also a direct flight thru Cle at 10a out of Boston we will take that if we get some good seats! (Thats why we leave 2 days early, when you fly by the seat of your pants....you never know what can pop up!)

I got this Jones of NY dress it is black but has single rows of bugle(?) beads which make a pattern across the dress of like 8" big squares, so it sparkles but I'm no disco ball!!!
Johnny has a very nice suit he is wearing, he has a tux from out honeymoon but I think he looks handsome in his suit.
I packed all of Matthew's things in a big...no...BIG..tub yesterday,his stuff is easy to iron. Just an idea....Johnny has a bunch of stuff that we are going to take that need dry cleaning, so I'm just throwing it in the suitcase and doing it on the ship,it is about the same price as in Boston. I have planned on sending all of our stuff out to be pressed when we get there. That in my eyes is money very well spent. I have also heard the irons in the laundry room are lousy. I am bringing my own. If they say anything I am going to tell them I know I need to use it in the laundy room. I'll shut up now! Wow too much caffeine!
Oh one more thing...............I got my tickets yesterday!!!Laurie

Hey guys....now I am a little nervous...all you guys are going down early...and my wife and I booked an 8:15 am out of LaGuardia airport in New York...get's us in at 11:00 to Orlando....and you would think that with my nightmare last year...alright...it was stressful...maybe not a nightmare...I would have learned my lesson...problem for me is I have to work Friday 11/29...so it was just easier to fly out in the morning...checked the Delta web site and there are only 6 seats left on the plane...now we are guaranteed to be on it...have seat assignments and all....but sometimes I just worry....and I am not a great flyer either....just the best way of getting from point a to point b...talk with you guys soon!
Tom oh..by the way...38 days and counting for me.....LOL....

Hey Tom,
You will be fine.....just make sure you check in early and get your assigned seats. You are leaving early enough in the day that even if there is weather that flight originates in LGA so you should get out no problem. If you are really concerned DL has a 610a flight you could call them and see if you could fly stand-by on that earlier flight. If they are busy that day they probably would like to get people out early. Just make sure the flight is open before you drag your family out at 4am! Laurie

Nothing on Friday night that I can make...but we are going to possibly go early...real early and try the standby thing....last time you can with Delta without paying 100 bucks to fly standby.....
We will see. . . but only 37 days to go guys....

I am home sick today (aka lots of time to be on the DIS site!)
I feel that if we don't meet right away, we won't meet at all. I feel that we will get caught-up in the action on the ship and may forget. Do any of you Experienced Disney Cruisers know of a good place to meet for the Sailaway party? (on deck of course, so that we can join in on the fun). Maybe we meet there right after the lifeboat drill.
Does that make sense? (You can tell me if I am being silly, afterall, I am on a couple of different drugs right now.... hehe)
