Magic Christmas Cruise 2010 (Dec 18th - 29th) - PART II

I wish there was a way to find out for sure if we've got the steamer trunks in our rooms. If not, it's going to be difficult storing clothing for 11 nights!

Just a reminder...... There are still groupons left for Cafepress. That's the company that has our personalized cruise t-shirts (see first page) if anybody still needs to order them. You pay $25 for a $50 order. You can even use some for shipping. It ends at midnight eastern time so 3 hours or so from now. You don't have to order tonight and you don't have to buy the t-shirts for this cruise. You can use it on any personalized order. Just wanted to pass it on before it ends. :)

I tried to keep track of people posting on the thread and check them against my PM:surfweb: but I would not be surprised if I missed one or two. I apologize if you wanted to be on the list and are not. Please send me a PM (or post here if you don't have enough posts to PM yet)and I will add you right away :goodvibes[/QUOTE]

QUOTE=cquick;38801469]absolutely! We meet again! Post your picture so I remember you!

I don't think we were ever able to meet up. Although Colorado Disney Freaks said you made it on board. We PM'ed each other a few times. I was the one that was suppose to go on the May 15th Med cruise with my daughter when she slipped into a coma for 5 weeks. We were able to rebook the cruise for Sept when her recovery looked good. We booked the Sept one only a few weeks before so we didn't make it into the FE or Private tours. You were very helpful and I appreciated that. Here's our pic.

Great pic! We will DEFINATELY get together on this cruise! :grouphug:

On the WBTA in Sept. a lot of people brought special clothes/costumes/ masks to wear on Villains Night.

Is there anyone on this cruise doing this? Connie

Ok, my vote- Yes split.

Will there be a villian night? :confused3 It would be fun to dress for that. I haven't been on the Magic since the villian night came along.

Anyone else???

While I was bummed at first that we didn't get upgraded I was exstatic when I realized we have connecting rooms!!! So excited! I was worried I would never know when my 15 year old returned at night.
We vote for NO split and I have a two year old girl...I didn't see her in the count.
I have 15, 10 and 7 year old boys and the 2 year old girl.
THanks

For the people that are wondering about what a steamer trunk is and a PARTIAL listing of rooms that have had them, refer to this thread.

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2498298

The spreadsheet on the first page of the thread above includes updates to midway through page 8 of that thread. I have read other posts where Disney says that if the Deck Plan shows a bump out in it, it will have a steamer trunk. If it is smooth, it won't have a steamer trunk. The small sample that I have checked does follow the bump out guideline, but I believe that I have read a post of someone that had a bump out, but no steamer trunk before.

Obviously, the only way to know for sure is to board on December 18th.

I guess it's taking me a while to figure this out....so when I checked on the website it said category 12 and the room numbers 2583 and 2585 so I figure they were cat 12 connecting. Then I started reading the passporter and it said all the cat 12's were deck 2 forward. but we are deck 2 midship. when I looked again I saw a little black circle with the number 10 in it for both are rooms....so I think we were upgraded to Cat 10 connecting rooms...

If the Wonder has one does it mean the Magic will too (in the same room?)?

We were Cat 12 GTY....Got Cat 11, inside stateroom-deck 5, aft; We are always OK with the inside stateroom, but we DEFINITELY prefer the porthole: It's SO much nicer to be able to see the daylight! Oh well.....Better go pack the night lights! :confused3

You did get upgraded to two cat 10's and as a bonus they are connecting! Yeah for you :thumbsup2

Your reservation will continue to say cat 12 even though your room assignment may be in a different category.
