I read here that this is a fine place to stay. I wanted to ask which location was the best?

I got room quotes for
$25.99 at Eastgate
$28.99 at Maingate

We won't be going to WDW when we would be staying here. We would move here after staying on-site. We want to go to the Beach, visit relatives and go to the Kennedy Space Center.

We stayed there last year prior to checking into Disney World and just after. We stayed at the Maingate, which was very convenient. The room was okay and fine for the 1 night we stayed. After our Disney stay, we had another night booked prior to traveling to Tampa. This room was not clean at all, no shower curtain, stains on the bed and in the bathroom. Needless to say, we moved to another hotel. I would arrive early enough in the day to double check the rooms and have them cleaned again if needed. The price is certainly very competitive, though!

Maingate is the best...When are you going?

We leave in 10 days for 3 weeks and I don't have my computer set up to send pictures(I'm on my laptop and my pics are in the main computer that is still packed from our move less than a week ago*

If you are only going once we have gotten back, I could send you pics.

The eastgate one is a bit closer to KSC by about 2 miles...

Have you thought about staying on the east coast for the beach and KSC? The drive is doable, but it is still a pretty good drive back and forth over there.

Is there any good rates for the places on Cocoa Beach...We would love to spent a night but not a fortune.
