Magic Cards not so magic

Maybe you should consider getting your tickets somewhere else.

When I went in June, no one had a problem with us paying with our debit card. Check your own attitude toward the situation, because maybe that has a lot to do with how you are perceiving things. I really don't think that the people working there honestly care THAT much how you choose to pay for things.

Maybe it was a weird week for the system, but I have personally experienced and heard fantastic things about this who,e change. Except for people who are going into it with piss poor attitudes or haven't even used the system yet.

Military Wife & Disney Lover. be there December 15-18.

I just got back as well, and we were part of the magic band test.

Most of the time, everything worked well, and I was glad we did it.

But there were definitely some glitches- and I can see how OP would get frustrated. I also had a problem with admission (getting my MB-linked AP renewal activated) that seemed to confuse the Guest-relation CM's. When different CM's all give you different answers it can be maddening. It took 45 minutes at Epcot Guest relations right at rope drop to get my AP activated. I sent the rest of my family on in to the park while I was sent from one window to another, as the cm's each called other cm's on the phone to find out what to do.

Anyway, I was patient because I had FPP already reserved, and I had agreed to test this MB system, knowing it was not fully perfected yet. I knew going into it that there could be issues, but I chose to participate anyway.

Of course I don't know the cause of OP's admission issues, but there is no reason they should have had to get it fixed twice, being given different answers by different cm's.

An observation: I found this site when I took my 1st and so far only trip to the World. Back then it was a fun site to come to. I have to admit not anymore. It seems people on here just want to be mean. The OP was not very nice and didn't seem to want to be bothered with fixing the problem when they were there and then other people just wanted to jump on OP because of it. Do we all forget how blessed we are that we can even take a trip to the world?:confused3

I find it entirely plausible that tickets from UT can be merged with the KTTW and OP was told otherwise. Disney CMs are consistently inconsistent with respect to what they know and don't know. Nor would it surprise me that one guest had zero problems with using a credit card or gift card while the same transaction was a nightmare for another guest.

Telling OP to purchase tickets elsewhere and to check the attitude is unbelievably rude, but sadly something I see on these boards pretty frequently. I always buy my tickets from Undercover Tourist, as do many posters here. We're not buying them from some dude hanging out at the Port Authority. UT is a legitimate seller of WDW tickets. If they're not working now and they were a few weeks ago, it's because of the new system at Disney. Not because there is something shady about the tickets or where they were purchased.

OP - I'm sorry you ran into problems. No one wants to spend thousands of dollars on anything and have it not work right.
