.We will be sailing on the Magic next month. We have an accessible cabin.
Does the cabin have a high back room chair in addition to the small desk bench. DH
requires a high back chair to sit in to watch TV since the TV doesn't swival.?
Magic Cabin 6647

do the tv not swival on the magic? They swivel on the dream?

We have returned. Special services came to our cabin to ask what type of chair we needed.
I said any flat back chair. The were great to meet our needs. The TV did swivel.
We had a cat 11 inside accessible but there was a knocking noise coming from the ceiling the
first night. We reported it and the cabin attendant and hotel manager came to the room.
We had the same knocking noise the second night. It sounded like pipes in the ceiling.
It wasn't the normal creaking sounds that you get aft. The sound was all day long, not
just at night.
The morning of the 3rd day they moved us to cabin 6500 9A. We have had this cabin
before so it was acceptable to us and we finally got a good night sleep the 3rd night of our
6 night cruise. This cabin did have a chair for DH to sit in and rest his back.
DCL was good about moving us.
Note* I did fill out and send in a special needs form for the chair request and shoreside
services did call us.

I was in 6647 last November.

1. Yes, there is a high back chair in the cabin;
2. The TV does partially swivel; because it is on the portion next to the desk, the bathroom wall prevents the TV from a full swivel to the right however, it does pull out and swivel some to the left. The TV is basically located at the right foot of the bed. It made it a little difficult for the 3 of us to watch - when we did, usually I sat on the bed, my dad sat on the stool to the left of me and my mom sat in her wheelchair to the far left.

So glad you were able to receive the accommodation you needed. Also thanks for an update for others asking about this. A bummer about the knocking noise and needing to relocate!
