Magic bands

I was trying to buy magic bands for my children for an upcoming cruise, but Disney will only allow me to complete the purchase if I order them for my entire family included on the cruise reservation. Does anyone know a way around this?

There is an option to select that you decline a band for each guest you will not be purchasing for. You either have to decline or select a band for everyone.

There is an option to decline a magicband for a guest. I can't remember exactly where that option is found though so hopefully someone else chimes in.

If you click on the person as if you were to choose a MB+ there's an option to decline a new DisneyBand+

Couldn't you go to Disneystore.com and order what you need from there, and add them to your MDE app, then link them to the cruise? They are the same bands...

Some Magic+ Bands are discounted if you order through your Park or DCL reservation ahead of your trip. They are not discounted if you purchase them from Shop DIsney.

DCL eliminated the pre-cruise discount. Nearly all that are available pre-arrival with a Disney resort reservation are discounted $10 compared to retail pricing. There are like 2 or 3 that are cheaper than the pre-arrival pricing and those are also discounted through a DCL cruise reservation.

Yeah, but one has to figure out what their desired end game will be, and what they want to accomplish... Sometimes you have to spend a little to get where you want to be...
