Magic Bands

Received my MB's. If I remembder correctly ordered through passholder. When I go into my MDE there is a notice under my resort reservation that I have no MB's associated with this resort. Is this a problem. will my bands work or do I have to go to the front desk

Magic Bands are not specifically associated with a particular resort stay, so I'm not sure what that notice is trying to communicate. The only thing I can think of is that it's trying to tell you that you have already purchased bands as part of the resort stay.

If the bands and the resort reservation all appear in your MDE, then there isn't a problem.

What exactly does the notice say? And where are you seeing it?

If they are not attached than enter them in and link them to the people who are going. The code under the puck is what's used.

In my MDE under MY PLANS underneath the resort name to the right "You Do Not Have New Magic Bands Associated With This Disney Resort Hotel Stay" Then underneath that is "inquire at your resort hotel front desk. <br> ordering is closed

Never saw this in all my years of going to wdw

Mine came in and they are linked. I guess my host fixed that for us, first timers. Yes, you have to link the band to your reservations.

under magic bands when i went to link them it came up its already linked to my account.

That means you are past the date that you could order magic bands. That's all. Since you said you used your AP band allotment, this makes sense. Nothing to be concerned about

No, you don’t. If they are bands that are ordered through a resort reservation, they are already linked.

And in any case, MagicBands are not linked to anything specific. They are linked to an individual profile. Then they work to access whatever is in that individual’s account.
