Magic Bands

It's been 3 years since our last trip so a lot has changed, one of which is the magicbands. Prior trips we charged everything to our room a but how do you charge using your magic name, particularly if you are at a table service restaurant?

The server will bring a hand-held reader/scanner to the table and scan your MB. He'll then give you a printout to add in a tip and total. The server may or may not need you to add in your Pin Code at the time your MB is scanned.

Basically everything you could do with your card you can do with the band. All that changed is what they use to read the band over what was used to read the card.

So very true, Nothing really has changed, it's just the way we do them now. And don't be worried about not knowing how to do the things now - the Cast Members are very used to having guests come up and say "I've never had a MagicBand before" and they will help you through the process.

We loved using these. Didn't have a single problem. We kept a few bucks just in case and only used them for knick knacks.
