Magic Bands

I have a question we are going to Disney in September it will be my family ,my brothers family and his mother in law and father in law do we need to link our magic bands together and if so how do I do that ? Thanks

You do not have to link your accounts together but you can invite friends and family from My Disney Experience to link accounts.
