Magic bands

All Disney Resort (including DVC Resorts) Guests will receive MagicBands. All resorts will be included in MyMagic+ testing as of 10/23.

We're going in early December - do I have to order/request these? Would like to get this started so we can set up fast pass +.

We got both e-mail and post-card invitations to be part of the testing. We are going in early November, and got the invitation just a few days ago.

December check-ins are not yet eligible for MyMagic+ (MagicBands & FastPass+). Once your reservation is eligible, there will be a 'Personalize MagicBands' option in MDE.

Based on when Sept & Oct check-ins became eligible, I'd say around the 24th. We have MagicBands from our stay this past weekend and we were able to customize them back on 8/24. We didn't get the actual invite until a week after we received the MagicBands.

Starting in November, all WDW resort guests are eligible, full paying, discount paying, points paying.....
