We have a split stay coming up in a few weeks and received 2 sets of Magic Bands for everyone.. Does it matter which one we use each day?

Also, we used creative FP+ planning... The grandparents may not want to ride some of the thrill rides. In order to get on all of the rides that DD wants, we will take DD on the rides using their bands. Will both of their magic bands be active every day? Or will we need to switch bands throughout the day?

Thanks!

1- Does it matter which one we use each day?

In order to get on all of the rides that DD wants,

2- we will take DD on the rides using their bands.

3- Will both of their magic bands be active every day?

4- Or will we need to switch bands throughout the day?

Thanks!

1- Nope. (Although it MIGHT be that only one set will open the room door(s)
at a particular resort stay. Some debate on that.)

2- That'll work.

3- I don't understand the question. There will only be 3 FP+ advance reservations per day, per person,
regardless of the number of bands that person has.

4- You will have to give ("swap") the MB with the FP+ to the person who wishes to USE that FP+.

Maybe this will clarify... MiL has 2 magic bands. She will wear 1 all day, but I will need it, too, to take DD on some of the rides that are attached to her account. Instead of switching, can I just use her 2nd magic band? Or does it need to be "activated" when she walks into the park?

Thanks!

I did a split stay last month and used my band from my November trip for both resorts. No problems with rooms or annual pass. My band was not scanned at the front desk for either.

Thanks, Robo!

1- A very good question. I'm going to GUESS that the "second" (unworn) MB will work for this purpose.
(But, it would need to be worn on the second person's wrist to enter that attraction's FP line.)

2- Not according to reports that I've read.

Of course, FP+ rules are still in a state of FLUX.
Hope it all works for you.
