Magic bands with multiple families under one reservation

I apologize if this information is already out there. I searched on Dis and googled but couldn't find my exact answer. Hopefully someone here can help.
We are bringing my SIL's family with us on our next trip. The reservation is in my name and I have linked it to my MDE account. All 9 magic bands for both families are in my account ready to be customized. I have not customized bands yet. I bought the tickets for my family earlier this week and have linked them to my account and assigned to each family member. My SIL bought tickets for her family last night. So my question is do I link her family's tickets in my account or can she link them in her account? If she links them in her account how would they get on the magic bands for her family that are in my account? I want her to be able to make her own fastpass + selections, ADRs, etc for her family, but I think both families will want to see eachother's plans. Just wondering what is the easiest way to handle a reservation/magic bands for multiple families? Any tips? Thanks in advance.

1- You can put everything on one account, if you like.

2- Each guest in an account can make different FP+ choices and/or
choose to be linked for some, or all, of the same FP+ choices as a group.

I can't help much but I just traveled with my friend and I just asked her for number off back of her ticket and linked it to her magic band in my account and I booked our FP also. I do know that my husband has his own account/own MB and I was able to book FP+ for both of us from my account once we allowed sharing of plans with each other.

I invited my sister, niece and mother to join us in a 2 bedroom villa at the Grand Floridian in April. My family of 4 is in MY MDE acct, while everyone else is linked to my sister's MDE acct. It has been a complete nightmare trying to link us all up so that we can make FP+ reservations together. I have spent multiple hours on the phone with Disney, with them ending up doing more harm that good - my mother, her ticket, and all her FP+ reservations just disappeared into Disney cyberspace.

The way it is supposed to work is that you will send "friend requests" from your MDE account to theirs and link your accts and plans together. This seems so simple, but would not work for us. You can try that way, but it would be MUCH easier to just link their tickets into your acct and have one person make all of the FP+ reservations.

I was just amazed at the people that I spoke with at Disney who could not fathom why I wanted to link all 7 of us together. It was like whoever came up with FP+ did not take into consideration that DVC resorts have large villas for multiple families - who have different MDE accounts but want to plan together. What a mess of a system Disney has rolled out.
