magic bands - when updated ?

OK, so I ordered my MB's and they are being shipped, and I have now linked some of my tickets to MDE, and made some of my FP+.

My question is when and how does all of this come together onto my MB? I know the details are in my MDE account but when and how do the details get transferred on the MB ?

If I change a FP+ on the go while walking through MK, how does that change get on my MB ? ...or does it ?

What info is actually kept on the MB ?

At the risk of running afoul of the tinfoil-hat crowd, nothing is stored on the MagicBand other than a unique identifier that means nothing to any system other than Disney's own servers. That unique identifier links your MB to your MDE account. As soon as you make a change to your MDE account, your MB should be able to access it via the unique ID.

Nothing is stored on the band. It is simple linking to your Disney MDE account.

Thats what I thought and it makes the most sense...that's why it doesn't matter how many MB's you are issued since nothing is really stored on them to begin with other than your unique Disney ID.
