I ordered/personalized my MagicBand when I first saw it on the screen. And they shipped it. The email and snail mail invitation arrived on the same day that my MagicBand was delivered. Go ahead and customize when you can see the screen.

When it's time to order MagicBands,does a link magically appear somewhere?

Great question. We're at SSR for 6 nights beginning Nov 29 and I don't know what I'm supposed to do.

If you didn't get the invitation, I would contact through your MDE page. I think there is a phone number there you can call. I had to do that several times to get the "glitches" ironed out for our Dec. 15-24th trip.

That is almost what happened to me too. I received the invitation and my personalized bands arrived the next day.

You don't really "order" the magic bands. You just personalize them when the link is enabled on your page, and they magically send them to you.

When your reservation is eligible, the 'Manage MagicBands' option will change to 'Personalize MagicBands'.

MDE asked me this week to customize our magic bands, 90 days ahead of our trip. We check into BWV in late February. It said I have until end of Jan to customize the bands. Assume that allows them enough time to mail them to me. At this point will not let me do FastPass+, says too early.

If you have a US address and customize the MagicBands more than 30 days prior to check-in, they are usually shipped out at 30 days til check-in. If you customize less than 30 days (but more than 10), they will ship the day after you customize. Once you are 10 days (or less) from check-in, the bands are sent to the resort for pickup on arrival.

The FP+ window will not open until 60 days from check-in.

Give it a day or so and the other colors should appear.
