Magic Bands ship?

I'm planning our first WDW trip for April, staying at Windsor Hills. Just tried ordering our Magic Bands but they don't ship to Canada. Has anyone ever shipped them to family in the US and had the family ship it to them? (My dad is in Florida now and I'd ship to him and have him ship to us).

Out of curiosity, how did you order Magic Bands if you're staying off site. I thought the only way you could get them when string offsite was to purchase them at a Disney store at the airport or Downtown Disney

That was my understanding too that when offsite we need to buy them the first morning.

I haven't ordered them yet - but you can order them on the Disney Store and ship them to the US (a friend, family member, etc) - I called the Disney Store and inquired. I've done a bit of research and decided that we won't send them to my dad in Florida to forward on to us, just buy them when we get to the park and link them up to our tickets.
