Magic Bands Returned

Hello DisFamily,

Last month, DH and I sold our house and moved.:woohoo: I updated MDE to show our new address, hoping to catch them before sending Magic Bands, however, it did not work. They were sent to our old address, and I was notified on USPS that "Your item was undeliverable as addressed at 12:29 pm on April 10, 2017 in NASHVILLE, TN. It is being returned if appropriate information is available." I called the post office and a woman said she would grab the package when the carrier returned and forward it to my new address. I signed up for mail forwarding, so I'm also unsure why they didn't catch it, but either way...nothing I can do about it. If it is not delivered today, I assume that the Magic Bands will be returned to Disney. Does anyone know if they will attempt to resend them to me? (our first day of trip is May 5) Or will I just need to get new Magic Bands at POP Century when we arrive? Thanks for your help!!

There is a shipping address in the MagicBand section of your MDE that is different from the address on your profile. So if you didn't change your address in both places, then the shipping department wouldn't have seen that you had a new address. People frequently use a different address for the MB's, especially if they want them shipped to work or to a different member of their travel party.

I would call Disney if the MB's don't show up in a few days. You will need them if you plan to take the Magical Express. Otherwise, you can pick them up at your resort when you check in. :)
 
Fortunately, we're driving in, so no worries for ME. Thanks for the help! I called Disney and they updated the address in the correct place and flagged for it to be reshipped to me! :flower1:

I would call Disney and tell them what happened. If there is enough time before your trip, they may resend them, otherwise they will let you know that you should pick them up at the resort. Hopefully if you let them know and have to pick them up at the resort, they can provide you with the colored ones instead of the gray ones,
