Magic Bands question

I'm a little out of the loop with Magic Bands- bad DISer!

Basically, we're going to be staying at three different resorts during our 16-night trip- will we receive three different Magic Bands? How will our tickets (21-day) be assigned to the bands? We're not on DDP this time so that's not an issue, I just want to make sure that our tickets work correctly.

Yep - you'll receive 3 different bands.

The bands don't have anything on them - the bands just tell whatever device you are using them on the unique ID of your My Disney Experience.

So it's important that your My Disney Experience is setup correctly, with all members of your party, all tickets, all reservations etc added to it ASAP.
The bands are automatically added to your MDE too as long as the room reservations match the MDE ones.

It's a bit confusing to explain, but you'll be able to use any of your bands as long they appear in MDE.

TLDR - make sure My Disney Experience has ALL your party's info and you should be fine.

Once you have linked the resort reservations to MDE you will get a MB order for each resort stay. You can pick a colour (from 7) and add a name/nickname to them.

You will also need to ensure your 21 day tickets are added and assigned to the correct person in MDE.

Once you check in at your first resort you will get the first MBs - these will be room keys etc, once you check in at your second resort you will get your second set of bands - you can now use either band. They are are just reading the information in your account. Once you have the third set again anyone can be used.

They can also be taken back again and used on subsequent trips
